Yeah, he should get microfracture surgery when he doesn't need it instead. Tracy McGrady is just one step above Pippen. At least Pippen has won something in his life.

Simmons had zero pressure until he **** the bed in the postseason, then demanded a trade.

It will be all hunky-dory in Brooklyn until Simmons shoots <40% from the FT line in the playoffs again.

Both teams won . Philly won more imo

they upgraded to contender , and they kept their young pieces . Only 2 firsts given up ! I don’t even know when those firsts are , but that’s good . Plus they managed to get out of Ben Simmons contract ... and get a player who should be a good fit for their other overpaid guy in Harris .

Harris is like a combo Josh smith and Carlos delfino . Just get him launching 3’s and the math prolly works out .

Nets mitigate risk , at the cost of lowering their odds this year .. but with Durant a ? And kyrie always a ? ... plus Simmons pairs well with them . Or with Durant and maybe getting some other guards . Curry is a nice piece , but he’s not a star .

mitigate risk as in harden could have left them for nothing ... or they would have lost even more leverage .

Morey is a perfect GM for james . If james can adapt to the philly climate then watch out.

I think james will be better long-term than people realize . His skill level is too high for him to completely drop off . He’s smart . He’s got an ego , but the brain is still there ... I think .

Dude learned a lot from chris paul and he is not incapable of aging gracefully . Morey will fill out depth at buyout and over offseason and tailor the team more to embiid / harden / maxey / thybulle / Harris / anyone else he considers core .

their window is longer than 1 or 2 years . I’m kind of high on embiids health .

I was hearing about thee CONSPIRACY that Harden intentionally did not sign his extension
so they can sign someone else and he will take less for longer
I can definitely see him getting something like 3 yr 105 or 4yr 160 over 1 yr 47

The thing is that being a 60 Million Dollars player . . .is an honor . .. but seriously after all the money he made
    40 million maybe cool

I like Harden but I don't think anyone gives him a MAX 5 yr deal
ok . .. maybe the Kings would

His Hamstring is legit still injured
Kyrie cannot get the shot but the expectation was that Harden push him self through a hamstring?

    Fun interview:

A few nuggets in there for Rockets fans. He mentioned that there were times in the past where he wasn’t aligned with ownership and/or coaches (not shocking, but don’t think I’ve heard him admit this before). Also said that there were situations with Harden in the past where he wasn’t clicking with another top player on the team and so he had to move that player.

excited to see how this Harden-Embiid pairing works

Harden kept getting paired with other guards, and it worked, but Harden and Embiid is gonna be so dangerous

The more of Embiid I watch the more I’m convinced he is the best player in the world

Harden is one of the highest IQ players of all time so it’s no surprise

This won't make the OnlyHaters happy.

Pretty confident this will go well.

Just like Brooklyn, health will likely be the only thing that can derail them. (Brooklyn would have been fine this year with better injury luck even with the Kyrie stuff)

There was a 3 year run where the Harden to CC assist combo was 7th, 2nd and 1st in the league. Even this year before the trade the Harden to Durant assist combo was I believe 3rd overall in the league. Will be interesting to see how the Harden/Embiid combo ranks in the time they play together.
