So what? Spurs lost Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard to postseason injuries. You don't think that matters? And the Rockets were the #4 seed. Blazers were #5. The Rockets also won the season series 3-1 with two of those wins having big margins of victory.
He left here and it seems like the last 8 season of pure basketball marvel didn't even happen. He's so good that you have to hate him if he isn't on your team. Harden is by far the least appreciated baskeball player I've ever seen compared to his skill.
kawhi missed game 6 so we should have won that game (instead of quitting), but the spurs were pretty signficant -300 favorites coming into the series. if kawhi came back for game 7 (he played in game 1 against GSW), the spurs are probably the favorite. people talk about that series like it was a coinflip between 2 evenly matched teams when the spurs were quite a bit better (2nd in net rating that year).
Let's see how this regular season king does during the playoffs, when there's actually something on the line. His playoff track record has revealed that he's been consistently a letdown, not as good as advertised and a fraud. The knock on Harden isn't just that he loses a lot in the playoffs...but he goes down without a fight quite often and quits (just like his exit in Houston when the going got tough). He and Paul George are in the same stratosphere of really talented players who are not great players to rely on during playoff time.
To fully understand the magnitude of a failure he is in the playoffs and the catastrophe of his playoff performances https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/pa...ames-harden-massive-chance-rewrite-reputation Houston is better off moving on from the mediocrity that Harden brought in the playoffs
QUESTION: There are 30 teams in the league. MEDIUM would be 10 - 20 So .. . . for the Rockets to be mediocre . . in mediocrity There should be 10 Teams with better records than the Rockets During the Harden Rockets Era Who are they? Rocket River
Would you prefer I use the word letdown instead, if it helps? Would that be more accurate? Harden brought mediocre returns compared to his peers who's level he's supposedly on (The Giannis, The KDs, the Lebrons, The Currys). Take into account the roster and system tailormade for him to thrive and the ensuring colossal failure to lead his team to match the expectations. Let's not also forget the perennial choking and quitting that is synonymous with Harden's playoff failures.
I love Bill Burr lol. First few minutes is on Harden and Nets. Also please don't respond to this video with some analytics or counter argument... its not meant to be a serious analysis.
If harden was still in houston, this would be huge news, harden got that brooklyn media protection now
LMAO for anyone clammoring about Tony parker in the playoffs https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/nba-player-ratings/ He was barely a factor. He had the second lowest WAR on their team. He was trash. Also we lost Nene in that series who was a huge part of our rotation. Nene was more important for us than Parker was for them.
Bill Burr is living in 2016. Harden's defense has improved a lot since then. His stats on the defensive will back that up. Heck, I think Harden had better defensive stats than Simmons last year. The fact he said he watched Harden play the other day and his defense was trash proves he actually didn't watch the game. Harden was one of the main reasons why the Nets were getting stops on the Clippers.
Lebron's first run on the Cavs? Curry in 2019 once KD and Klay went down? Kawhi last year? I mean if we're going to talk about "choking" Harden has yet to ever lose while up 3-1 which only Lebron can claim. Kobe did it, KD did it, hell Curry and Kawi did it despite being favored.
