I agree, i've said that but thats not in disagreement with Drummond helping them defensively. Their biggest issue now is defense and if Durant is Durant in the playoffs and Harden shows up in the earlier parts of each series like he's prone to do they will be lethal.
I guess negative might be a little harsh. He just doesn’t provide much rim protection at this stage of his career and he isn’t the rebounder he once was. His last 4 games on the glass have been rough. He’s too slow to move out of the paint as well to guard the top of the key so guys are routinely getting open jumpers from there and hitting them.
I don't kneejerk off of a few games like a lot of folks around here. His rebounding rate is actually just fine for the limited amount of minutes he plays. He's obviously not the same DJ from the clips which I've previously mentioned he can't play big minutes every night anymore. that's just a given, but hes still a solid piece they have and obviously his relationships with the big 3 are a significant factor
Agreed. Plus he would be better than Javalle Mcgee and pretty much everything else available to them.
I agree he is by far the the best big they could “potentially” land. I think McGee is a really solid player in his own right though. He would provided the needed rim protection and rebounding as well. Plus him and Harden in the PNR would be nice
Ariza once he gets bought out. They also have Dinwiddies contract which is expiring and a shooter like Shamet to use as trade chips
Because once a player decides they need something to happen you have to do it at all costs or else... that's just the way this **** seems to go.
He's the best offensive player on the team. His scoring is either equal or slightly below either of the other two but his playmaking is just better than Durant or Irving. Even tonight, Harden had a higher TS% than him Durant and 15 assists with 3 turnovers. If they continue to switch everything the defensive value between Harden and Durant is going to get smaller too.
It really doesn't look like they are playing that hard at all. it makes for a boring 3 qtrs every game
What's interesting is even with Kyrie and KD, the team with Harden still go down to the wire or OT. They're not in many blowout games like the bucks or GSW used to be. That was always the problem for the Rockets and now I wonder how much of it is due to Harden.
Also James played 45 minutes tonight. More than KD and Kyrie. For a guy that is apparently fat and out of shape that's pretty ****ing incredible. He has routinely played the most minutes on the team since his arrival. Hopefully that BS that he is fat and out of shape dies now.
Why you mad at this. He was out of shape but now he seemed to have played himself into some sort of shape and rhythm. He didn't play like that in his last 5 games in Houston. He cannot erase those games. Maybe he quit on us as a byproduct.
