that optimism is coming from somewhere…maybe the mayor has given them signals that an exemption is in the works last time we heard about some Nets optimism, it was regarding Kyrie coming back, and he was back playing games shortly
Do you really not understand that shooting 70% from the 3pt line is a huge outlier? There's nothing wrong with acknowledging the obvious. And the only reason Irving scored single digits was because of the blowout due to the incredible shooting.
yea you obviously dont understand how averages work. Just because a player averages 40% on 3s doesnt mean he actually shoots 40% every night. Someone going 6/8 for the night isnt out of the ordinary in the nba Next game they might shoot worse but someone else will be better. Likely kyrie since he was flat out bad. Thats how that works
A single person going 6/8 isn't out of the ordinary, but 3 high volume 3pt shooters collectively shooting 70% from the 3pt is highly unusual. That's why this is an outlier game. I hope you understand since I can't simplify it any further.
three great shooters have a great shooting night. How unprecedented Thank you for your excellent analysis!
Sure, I'm always happy to impart wisdom to fellow clutchfans. But I do want to point out that shooting 70% isn't "great". It's beyond "great".
Nets are obvious champions this year. Only thing that can derail them is injuries or covid shenanigans.
Dude they blew them out by 26 points it's not like they barely won and needed to shoot 70% and by the way it was actually 53% from 3, so you are wrong on that as well, they cannot make 17 3's again?
Out of curiosity, do you bother reading the posts you respond to? Or do you just start typing and hope that your response is accurate?
Nash finally figured out you can't have 2-3 guys out there at once that are non-shooters. I know Mike D'Antoni isn't sitting right next you this season...but c'mon.
You really didn't. I wasn't wrong about anything I said. I even bolded the portion of your response that was incorrect. Reading is fundamental.
BK will have absolutely zero spacing…Who’s left on the roster that can actually shoot? Houston Harden might’ve still dropped 40 and 10 regardless, but BK Harden?
A player can still be good and a team can still be bad. Both things aren't mutually exclusive. See: LeBron James.
Haven't you heard that LeBron is just stat padding? https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/...-as-a-los-angeles-laker-thread.312453/page-26
It's a pattern throughout LeBron's career. Always jumping ships, always recruiting super teams, yet always "has no help". His play style just amplifies himself while making everyone around him worse.
