That will probably change come playoffs. They got their lead back last night once Harden left the game. Honestly, I hope the Nets don't win a Championship. Screw these teams made up of ring chasing stars.
let me guess, Harden is the only NBA superstar who doesn't deserve a team which can win without him right?
Agreed. I usually think late firsts + scrap heap signings that payoff have a lot of luck but yeesh they literally rebuilt their franchise with late picks and scrap heap signings. These guys turned into legitimate starters
IMO, Nets are only favorites to win the title if KD comes back in top form. The D'Antoni outscore to win method is on full display with this squad. A healthy KD on top of the current squad is winning regardless of style, though.
Something I ignored with the signings of Blake and LMA, having good veterans on the bench is never a bad thing they are extra eyes and good mentors for the young guys and everyone else.
There are no young guys other than Claxton. Everyone one else is is 24 or above. Bruce Brown is the only one other than Claxton that doesn't have a lot of NBA experience but he's in his third year.
The Nets defense without DeAndre Jordan is enough to win the title. DeAndre Jordan is bad. He has value with his lobs but he's just two slow to contest shooters. Nic Claxton will need to play more with LMA backing him up.
Jordan last night: -16 in 11 minutes Claxton last night: +19 in 21 minutes And some people in here were trying to tell us that Jordan is a better bet for the playoffs.
