Man, one thing for sure if I created a video of Harden running down the court, then immediately curling around a pick for a hand-off into PnR, and called that "Harden Off-Ball" in the heat of the Harden needs to move Off-Ball debates ... I would have been laughed off

Yeah, there are stats showing CP3 changed his game by doubling his ISOs, really ramping them up as the win streaks mounted in 2018

In a season where everyone else gave up, the Rockets were locked in honing an extreme strategy (revolutionary defense to beat 1-team and ball-control offense -- heavy ISO, slow pace)

that's a great summary. Also of note is the ISO didn't hurt the Alley-Oop threat of PnR ... Capela just got more dunks out of ISO.

So, I'd emphasize we never gave up the Lob threat. Even the ISO was like 50% alley-oop, if JH drove. Moving the dunker to the short-corner was a counter which still encompassed even distribution of (3s, FTs, layups). Not just the trap, but drop coverage like ICE, and extreme defenses like MIL shading Harden's left hand (and all the copycat teams).

So how do you account for him blowing a 3-1 and 3-2 lead in the playoffs while he was not injured?

Now there is a debate to had with Wade but he is not a much better player his per is only 1% better and thats with Wade being a shell of himself the last 4 years he was playing.

If we had the Nets version of James Harden the Rockets would have been unstoppable.

Harden still throwing the Rockets a bone by losing to the Magic. Thank You Harden!

I think if we ever had a shooter of Joe Harris' calibre we would've been unstoppable with the version of Harden we had.

Harden finally had a really bad game and the Nets finally lost. Coincidence? No . That team goes as he goes

I hope the nets are taking the exact same precaution/standards with harden as they are with KD and Kyrie as far as load management / injuries are concerned

Nash said harden was running on fumes after playing so many minutes lately and he is right. Harden looked pretty bad. It happens. He was averaging 29 points 12 assists 10 boards in the last 15 games prior to that dud last night. The magic shooting 21 threes obviously didn’t help matters either

Aaron Gordon shot like Harris last night. If he shot even close to that on a regular night, he would be better than Durant.

Since it happened, I guess we can talk about it.

If LeBron is out for an extended period of time, the MVP is Harden's to lose. No matter how much the media doesn't want to give it to him.

I would double-down on LeBron. No way he misses 8 weeks. Maybe not even 8 games. Harden's time in Houston will be the justification to not vote for him... Jokic will not win enough... Giannis will not win 3 in a row.

Lillard is the next best bet, IMO.

Uhhh.....that's a 4-6 week injury, and from what I've read, that injury lingers. It's gonna be at least 4-6 weeks. Since its Lebron it might be 3 but thats still like a minimum 9 games.

I know that those type of sprains are typically serious, but there is also variation in recovery times. Guess we'll see what the MRI results reveal.
