remember when the rockets had a deal in place for JaMychal Green and Garrett Temple but Tilman and his LTS took precedent. remember when Uncle Jeff was sitting out there in FA but they went after MCW instead
The sequence where Paul stole the ball from Harden and Harden was pushing him was strange. It happened early in the game.
The rich get richer, right? The NBA should put in place incentives to prevent stars from coming together like this. A salary cap apparently isn't enough. One thought I had was to put limits on how many all-stars can come from the same team. How much a difference that would actually make I can't say. But it seems like a simple thing to add, and it would also ensure better team representation at the all-star game which I think the owners would like.
blake griffin hasn't dunked once this season and people think he's going to make a difference in a title? is he even prepared to just be a role player and collect DNP-CD's in certain games?
Not sure they view Blake griffin much of anything. I think the odds makers are realizing Brooklyn just has a better team and ADs health is concerning.
AD’s health has been a concern for weeks tho. Did the Nets have better odds than the Lakers before this Blake signing? J-Will and the crew are talking like Blake still got it
- Signed for vet min - Provides an offensive element that Jordan and Claxton can't - Other contending teams didn't get him for the vet min Signing Griffin for the vet min is an extremely good low-risk, high-reward deal. You're right to be wary of his mindset of accepting a lesser role. But if he was willing to sign for the vet min, I'm sure he can suck it up and do whatever is asked for the good of the team.
if harden can make blake look like a productive player, then he's gotta be the ultimate resurrectionist, bringing careers back from the dead.
