Let's hope we see much more of that. Especially with the same unis next season. They would go together on the court like chicken & waffles
Regardless of whether KD comes here, Durant and Harden are really tight on a personal level, much more than with Westbrook. KD-Harden-Beasley lineup will be really interesting to watch.
And this is important to remember...they probably would have hung out any ways. These players don't take it as seriously as fans. Some fan sees this and thinks this makes it certain but it means little very likely. At the end of the day they are people too and their life is much more than a basketball game (or should be.) if anything it would be annoying if I'm Durant and while hanging out with Harden all he does is sneak in little suggestions about joining the Rockets. That would make me not want to join... Alas, I'm not Durant though. Seeing this certainly doesn't hurt though. I guess that guy with the sources in the other thread was wrong
It is interesting though that the OKC season ended less than a week ago and Durant is already visiting and hanging out with the dude in Arizona (presumably working out too). Those guys are legitimately good friends outside of basketball and Durant said in his last PC that he wants to "have fun playing basketball and be around friends and family".
Trading Harden was the biggest mistake Presti has ever made because this is KD's friend. So don't expect KD doing Presti and the Thunder any favors. Good thing these two stayed as close friends. We have a shot in signing Durant for that reason alone. Either this summer or next. Oh and "IF" and when KD decides to join Harden, don't be surprised if Russ follows next. "The Reunion in Houston"
I just found out from a source close to Harden that his sales pitch of tag teaming Khloe on the weekends highly intrigues Durant. KD to Houston gaining steam.
