Totally agree, and I feel this way about a lot of these online clickbait media outlets these days. The athletic is even worse...the info is good, but it reads like a high school newspaper. Just really awkward and unprofessional wording and phrasing, it's much closer to a blog post than something out of a newspaper. Maybe that's intentional? Either way, I don't like it and it sounds bad.
That was a truly masterful piece on a player. Rockets should take notes and implement similar PR pieces for their players, especially those getting skewered by Rockets Nation. Miss Harden and his presence on and off the court, not just the passion but the generosity. And relationship between Harden and Nash is underrated. Not to mention Harden is revered by his Nets teammates. And bigs (3 ball snipers) love the Beard the most, he's gotten them paid and/or rejuvenated careers for Capela, Blake, Claxton, Brown, Jeff Green, Aldridge, etc. "Scary Hours" has been incorporated and embraced by all NBA, not just Nets.
I mean now you're going from semi-serious territory into less-than-serious territory lol. Even if the CBA allows for restructuring what incentive would Russ have that's worth it for him to restructure his fully guaranteed $47 million in 2023 player option down to $5 million? That $47 million he's owed for next season would probably be the very last time he'll see that type of money again. If we're pivoting to more of a fantasy world, I'd rather trade Wall to Brooklyn for Harden. Problem solved.
I would be ASTOUNDED if Russ did not take his 47 million next year Honestly. . . I would like to shake the hand of the man with the balls to ask him not too Rocket River
Now this is just ridiculous! How can you trade Wall for Harden when he becomes UFA after winning the championship with BKN??? (don't take this post too seriously please - totally tongue in cheek)
All good. You're responding to a guy that is still holding out hope that a GM will drunk dial Stone in the next two weeks offering to take Wall off of our hands for expirings.
I'm hoping a GM will drunk dial Stone in the next 2 weeks and give us a positive asset... like ANY GM would do...
NBA on TNT pregame... Shaq and Wade just said with this whole Kyrie thing and Harden giving it his all to win a ship... who can blame him for wanting to test FA as its his right too. Furthermore, saying with the whole Kyrie situation of playing on the road... it's giving him more reason to leave. It's happening folks. Come on home!
he used to just make **** up. He did break the Drexler trade was being discussed like two weeks before anyone else.
