Harden scored 57 points in 24 minutes of playing time starting from the 6:30 mark of the fourth quarter against Memphis. Nuts.
36.478 ** EDIT ** : Oh, and he'd have to average just over 41.73 ppg the rest of the season to beat Jordan's average. Still a hell of a mountain to climb.
No idea who this guy is, but I like his tweets. I was just thinking -- Harden has 2 61-point games (so far) this season, but he has 4 more 50+-point games where he could've hit another 2 pointer or 3 pointer and hit 60 and another game where 2 more 3 pointers would've put him at 60. Crazy.
@RudyTBag Oops, I made a mistake -- forgot we only have 9 games left in the season. I corrected it. He'd have to score 376 points in the remaining games to beat Jordan's average by fractions of a point.
Harden has more games scoring over 55 points than games scoring under 20...I seriously can not believe what I’ve been witnessing what’s even more insane is that u already know that Harden will be in the lab all summer and come back even better next season What is this dude’s ceiling? Who would’ve thought that the 6th man on OKC would end up being 1 of the most devastating offensive forces the league has ever seen?
We are all witnesses. It's been a hell of a ride. I was a kid when Dream won his championships and started exiting his prime. I remember think Yao and Tmac would be some sort of dynasty, but injuries derailed that. Watching Harden night in and night out has been a ****ing pleasure. What I love about Harden is that he hasn't brought any idiotic drama. All he has done is play ball and represent Houston. He has never made threats to leave the team and has always remained loyal. @Deckard was right when he told me why would I even contemplate not having season tickets for next year when I have the opportunity to keep watching an all time great live. I've reupped my season tickets and ready for our championship run! It was a pleasure being in the arena tonight and watching James do his thing.
