Yup, on the court all the greats or those who had potential to be great would always try to exert their dominance. Out of all the superstars though, Yao was definitely the most "humble". If you asked him who was the greatest center when he played, he probably would have given you some answer like "Well, there are a lot of great centers in the NBA... blah, blah, blah!" as opposed to any other superstars who would be like "Me, absolutely me."

Larry Bird, MJ, Dream, ect... all of them want you to know that they are the best. Some will go out of their way more to tell you about it, but if you ask them, you can be damn sure they will let you know it's them.

LOL Harden is cocky as hell. He took Green's semi-diss and turned it into a "I'm a trendsetter #blessed" self compliment. Definitely the MVP!

Having spent a lot of time with Hakeem, he's very humble. Being sure of yourself and your abilities doesn't make you not humble. Its his confidence that helped him be the great player he was and still is. Being humble is him coming to my parents private school every week to greet with 200+ kids when he used to get his haircut in the same strip center. Not for "NBA Cares." There were never any cameras present.
