Legends are made in the post season.

It's an easier road to have a very good record during the Regular Season.

Uh whatever . Legends are made in the post season.

I'm looking forward to James in the post season.

People who revel too much in the regular season don't know what legend is.

McCray needs to be higher. And even with the small sample size, Harden needs to be on that list.

Geez, let's not jump the gun or anything. If he sustains a career-ending injury before we witness his true greatness, I'm blaming this thread for jinxing it.

Question: How many people remember the best regular season records over championships?

    Answer: Nobody

Nobody is a legend without postseason success

If he plays over the length of two contracts here(~9 to 10yrs) and stays healthy he could go down as a top 5 Rocket for sure.

I disagree, Clyde was at the end of his career and while he did play good and put up good numbers he didn't have the ability at that time to do what Harden is doing now.

I know it will upset some but I would also put Tmac ahead of Clyde also.
    So I would have

    1. Harden
    2. Tmac
    3. Clyde

Well, if it's not, wouldn't this be kind of pointless thread in the first place? Because we'd also have players like Barkley, Drexler, T-Mac in his full glory of the Orlando years, Rick Barry, etc. etc. etc. in the discussion.

He's going to break all of the offensive records here assuming he doesn't get injured or bolt to another team.

But, no matter what he does he will always be behind Dream until he wins atleast two championships here. I don't care what numbers he puts up, either.

I would take Vernon over T-back, any day of the week. I would also take Lucas or Dunleavy over most of those players and you didn't even list them.

Lol...chill bro.... Sorry for not making it clear...

There's another Harden thread where OP complained about being rated 2 stars and blame it on Lin fans being jealous ;)

In terms of Rockets Beards, I would say hell yes he is a legend.

    Thread hijack:

Does Harden have the greatest beard in Rockets history?

    Who is he competing with?

With all due respect, Rodney wasn't a shooting guard, so he shouldn't even be on that list.

Talking about him being a legend next to Dream based on what he has done so far is like asking a girl out and then making a mess in your pants when she says yes.

    And on that note...

Simple answer, he does not end up next to The Dream.
We bring up this subject again in about 3-5 years if he is still a Rocket.
