#1 Kyrie is a horrible defender, far worse than Harden.

#2 Who said that Kyrie is inefficient? No, he is just not as efficient as Harden. He does not go to the line like Harden and is not as good a scorer eventhough he has a green light 24/7.

#3 He should have a better TO/AS ratio than Harden, and still, he barely has more assists than Harden. His court vision is not elite for a point guard.

    #4 Harden rebounds better.

#5 Harden is not "slightly" better than Kyrie right now. He is better at almost every facet of the game, and Kyrie's size will limit him.

Look, I would LOVE to have him next to Harden or in the draft, he is one of the best young players in the NBA, but he is not as good as Harden, and barring an injury to Harden, or major step by Kyrie, he will not be as good as Harden.

LOL...everyone standing around watching him brick shots... That's what will happen if you build around him.

I hate to say it but basketball is a big man's game....so your best player has to have some size to power through shots. It's very hard for a team to go far if their best player is the point....so D-Rose and Irving will be last on my list, if given the other options.

If there was a draft with Irving and Harden headlining I take Harden 10 times out of ten. Kyrie, as talented as he is, is a shooting guard playing point.

Lol that was my post you're referring to. I love harden. But what keeps him from being a player like in the top 5 is simply athletic talent. Hard to ever be an elite defender when you don't have the tools.
That being said, I do think we will win the title. But with a roster, not one guy doing it all.
You're nuts if you think Howard isn't a player you build teams around. He changes the game on both ends in a way Harden doesn't.

Jason Kidd took Kerry Kittles and Kenyon Martin to the finals. Yeah you can build around anyone who dominates both ends of the court.

This is my first bumped thread, but man, I feel bad about NOT adding him in my initial list. I am glad I changed my mind, but P. George is a franchise player, IMO.

George is a badass MFO. He is a monster who hasn't even come close to his potential. He and Harden are the future of the league

The two new superstars this season have been harden and then in the playoffs Paul George. These two guys are the new young faces of the league. I expect Irving to get there but you got to lead your team to the playoffs to truely get recognized as a superstar in this league. These three along with durant, Westbrook and maybe rose if he returns to form will be the best players in the world in 5 yrs.

All will still be under 30 and in their primes. Kobe and wade will most certainly be retired and lebron cp3 and Parker while good should be winding down their careers. Carmelo and dwight will be up their in age also if you want to consider them superstars too.

As of right now this is my list in order:

    Lebron
    Durant
    Cp3
    Westbrook
    Parker
    Kobe
    Wade
    Harden
    Carmelo
    Howard
    Bosh
    George
    M.gasol
    D.will
    Duncan

IMO these are the best players in the game and extreamly important to their teams success. Maybe Tim Duncan is to low but I just couldn't put him above any of those other guys. Other than that I think it's pretty spot on. I certainly expect a few of those guys to drop out the top 15 all together next season and maybe add in rose, Irving, love and maybe Blake griffin.

I'd have CP3 at 6 only because of his age. So Harden is 5 in my list.

Tempted to throw Lillard or a healthy Curry in there but Lillard still has ways to go in other aspects of his game like Irving in his first year and Curry is in the same boat.
