Guys, don't fight. We all love Harden on the Rockets.

Maybe a better description would be he has an incomplete offensive game or his game could be more well-rounded by adding ...

"Incredibly flawed" is a flawed expression.

What makes him so efficient is the fact that he only takes 3s and drives. A missed pullup midrange shot is a terrible shot, thats what makes guys like westbrook so frustrating to watch.

regarding the article, even with harden being my favorite player there is no way I put him 3rd on that list. 1 on 1 isnt really his game, he thrives more in the pnr. Id put jamal crawford at the top of that list, and a guy like ellis belongs somewhere there. The thing with 1 on 1 players now, with all the advanced stats, it shows that these kind of guys are actually not too valuable to the team. John Wall is another great 1 on 1 guy, but do you really want him on your team? Look at guys like Lance Stevenson or Josh Selby, even austin rivers, all these guys are really talented going 1 on 1 but they are really just a detriment to the team.

Interesting point. Harden is very crafty though and knows how to get around his defenders, even tricking them, which makes him very hard to guard and is also the reaon why he goes to the line so often.

I would say the one aspect of one on one he may need to improve is staying in front of his opponent and reading/anticipating the movement when his opponent has the ball, namely his defense that this board has discussed extensively.

No one calls midrange shots bad when Durant takes them. People give many excuses for players lack of skill

No, I wasn't talking about Kobe I was referring to the effectiveness of Harden's free throws the poster was talking about old timer...

Harden' s offense is monster (but as we found out / can be shut down) but his D is suspect for him to be considered a complete player.
He is young , work in progress still got lots to improve.
