He was talking about past seasons, not necessarily only this one.

    And I provided 10 examples. That's plenty.

    Reading comprehension FTW!!!!

Then what are you arguing about what happened in Yester years? Live in the present and look towards the future

Harden is #1 for individual playoff performance but his team, the Rockets, is ranked #8.

While Clippers are #1 but Kawhi is #2 (moved from #4 to pass up Luka last week who was #2 - Harden has maintained his #1 position).

Do you see the talent disparity between the 2 teams yet? The talent disparity between Rockets and top 7 teams?

Heck, Lebron and AD are #6 and #7 respectively yet the Lakers as a team are ranked higher (#6) than the Rockets (#8).

    Again, your timing is suspicious.

To keep things in perspective. We were favored to beat OKC, and rightfully so because they're an inferior team.....especially since Chris Paul looks 2 steps slower than he did in the regular season. Harden normally beasts against scrub teams. The Lakers will be the real test.

And looking forward to seeing your take when Rockets roll the Lakers.

I hope they do. I have a $90 bet on the Rockets to win the title.

I apologize on the and we lost comment on the last post don’t know what the hell I was looking at.

How about this. Hardens average game score in Houston in the playoffs is 20.7.

Let’s look at # of games where his game score was 15.0 or below and we won and compare it to how many games he was over 25.0 and we lost. All games outside of 2018

Games with game score below 15 and Rockets still won in Harden playoff era

    2

Games with game score above 25 and Rockets still lost in Harden playoff era

    9

I’d say that is pretty telling as to what kind of support he has had in Houston.

No, Kawhi get's respect because his playoff play is outstanding and comparable to the greats, and because he led a team to a title. Last postseason Kawhi avg 31, 9, 4 on 49%, 38% and 88% shooting. 62% TS and 55% eFG. All-world defense. That's better than any postseason Harden has ever had. His 2017 playoff run was better than any Harden ever had as well, prior to Zaza taking him out. You can have the regular season. I'll take the play when it matters most. And that's only looking at numbers. When it was time to close games you didn't see the lethargic type of play that we have seen from Harden far too often. No pouting or quitting. Game series winning shots as opposed to boneheaded late game turnovers. A player is going off (ie the MVP) let's stick Kawhi on him and change the entire series. The type of things simply looking at a boxscore won't reveal. And Kawhi appears to be playing better this postseason than last.

Kawhi beat a Sixers team that had Embid, Simmons and Butler. Beat them with a series ending shot at that. The the next round he beat the MVP on the highest winning team in basketball. Leastern conference doesn't apply to last season.[/QUOTE]
