Westbrook averaged a triple double, that is worthy of the MVP.

Harden is also worthy - it is going to be close.

Harden winning at this point is like a republican winning, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin; like Moonlight winning best picture?

There's a chance! The year of upsets extends into 2017!

Yeah, no turning back now. Westbrook has this locked up after tonight, Harden should be it but whatever, Westbrooks story is more entertaining.

This might have been Harden's 2nd or 3rd quadruple double of the season.... No one can boast that! ;)

I don't want Harden to be a whiner; that's what we are here for. I hope, if he loses, he makes sure to point out the hypocrisy in every interview. I hope he does so sarcastically too.

I admire your faith and how you're holding out until the end. I tried for as long as I could. :(

Great hearing more national media mention the uncontested rebounds.

They should mention Russell's lack of shots contested on defense more, too.

U can tell he really wants to win this thing. I can understand where he's coming from. Finishing 2nd in MVP voting twice is tough. What more could he have done this season? I hope he just focuses on demolishing OKC in the playoffs. The media needs to be called out for sure tho. The hypocrisy and obvious bias has been frustrating.

Just watched the recap of today's OKC vs Nuggets game.

Why did it look like OKC was the team fighting desperately to clinch a playoff berth?? Nuggets basically stopped playing up 12 with 3 minutes to go. What a trash effort that was to close it out. No urgency. Now they're eliminated from the playoffs.

    Trash organization.

Its crazy that Harden will lose two MVPs for opposite reasons.

    Curry because of wins
Westbrook because of "carrying his team"

    I mean, what the ****?

This is the 1st time I've ever seen having too much help be a knock against someone's MVP case. This is also the 1st time I've seen a supporting cast consisting of no former all star, present all star, or potential all star be referred to as "too much help."

Westbrook's performance plus game winning shot versus the Nuggets might've sealed the MVP for him. Feel really bad for Harden.

It seems Harden is gaining steam because people are pushing Westbrook too hard. Hardens gotta finish strong

    Nope.

    You're confusing MVP with MOP.

NCAA has it right. Most Outstanding Player should go to Westbrook for his Herculean personal achievement this season. But let's not start redefining what the MVP has historical represented.

If anyone is confused, see the MVP voting results from 1962.

Harden is right. It's always been about winning.

If Russ wins it will also be the 1st time a player on a team w.out 50 wins & not in 4th place or better gets it.

After this last week he should get the MVP imo. At least it puts my mind at ease now. Just curb stomp them in the 1st

We need to roast OKC if Harden loses to Westbrick in the MVP voting just to show what bunch of idiots the media consist of.
