i don't think we are salty at westbrook but we sure as hell think the media bias is real. MSM has made their choice already (thanks donald) and have been looking for reasons to discredit Harden since the all star break. Look at how close the race was a couple weeks ago. People couldn't wait for Harden to have an "average" week.

People are still crapping on Harden. A game winner and that triple double is nice, but the reason why Harden's team is better is because Harden is the better team player.

Someone said "Man, if Westbrook had more talent around him what would he do!?"

Umm...Westrbook had Durant and Harden with him. Westbrook had Durant with him after Harden went to Houston...and Ibaka and his Thunder teams have been loaded top 5 teams for a while now.

Harden is going to go down as one of the most underappreciated players ever. He's putting up historical numbers and no one is F'n talking about it.

Westbrook has put himself in comfortably in the lead the past month or so. Harden, ever since he re-aggravated his wrist has not shot the ball well at all and missed a few games while Westbrook continues to be other-worldly and has been much more efficient lately. It is what it is, Harden needs to find his groove in the playoffs against the Thunder since he has struggled this season against their defense.

I agree. It's unfortunate, and it sucks. There is no way that Harden will win the MVP this year. He's gonna finish in 2nd place yet again. The best thing that he can do is absolutely dominate OKC in the 1st round and look to turn around his playoff reputation.

I remain optimistic. OKC is still in the 6th position and aren't going to win 50 games. You MFers form a line.

Just seeing how the media is influencing this MVP like always. Making a Video on NBAtv tonight showing Westbrook and Robinson and how Westbrook has done what has not been done for 50 yrs. This MVP will be given to Westbrook and I hope history repeats itself again when The Dream dominated the MVP of that season David Robinson. GO ROCKETS!!

Harden had 35 and 15 assists. His points generated was probably very near westbrooks 50 and 10.

Harden had a trip dub tonight too. Harden has also been clutch as well. Remember his game winner vs denver? Hardens 53 point trip dub on new years eve is still better then this russ trip dub.

Im not a hater, i think russ is great. I still remain unconvinced that he deserves the MVP over the beard

I tried to remain strong all season, but Reeko has fallen. Westbrook is The People's Champ.

Crazy to think just 3 weeks ago, Harden was the favorite. Now he's probably going to lose in a landslide.

Well Harden can kiss that MVP trophy bye bye. The media was already blowing Westbrook up. Now this joker killed Denver's chance to make the playoffs with that game winner. That's icing on the cake and yhe the media will make sure of that.

Man that's a tough blow to the campaign.

But yeah it's over. Might actually be a landslide victory at this point. It would shock me if Harden got more than 20% of the first place vote. I don't like the complete media bias, the backwards logic applied to the race, the penalties for having a successful team, and the new standard for what an MVP is, but it's done.

Going to have to really take it to them in the playoffs but it's likely all we'll get.

Next year the Rockets are going to backslide but Harden will average a triple double and get the 6th seed. Media narrative will be he's selfish and hurt his teammates as evidenced by the worse record.

Lebron will win the MVP as the Cavs take the 3rd best record in the league and he averages nearly a triple double. Media will say winning is what counts and obviously he could get a triple double if he wanted to but cares too much about his teammates.

10th best record MVP ruins the award forever. Today's voters are probably stupid enough to do it.

I don't think it makes you a bad fan if you have no faith. There are people that just have a pessimistic view of things.

I mean, it's easy to remain optimistic when Harden winning MVP has no affect on my life.

The momentum is so overwhelmingly in Westbrook's favor. This is such a turnaround from when I thought that Harden essentially had the MVP award locked up after the 3rd quarter of that OKC game. Harden winning this thing would be like coming back from a 3-0 deficit in a playoff series at this point.

Harden just better dominate OKC in the playoffs and let the media know that they made a bad decision in giving the award to Westbrook. The Harden that showed up against Curry in games 1, 2, and 4 of the WCF needs to make a reappearance.
