"What?! 2 more rebounds a game and 8 less wins while obviously stat padding all season long? You're a stat w**** just like the media with all of their westbrick nut hugging" - Clutchfans

    Did I do it right?

    Nope. Fail.

You missed "media conspiracy" and "narrative" and "moving of goalposts"

Watch, next year Harden is gonna get screwed over again somehow. Harden prolly never win an MVP, and if he does it'll be just 1 but not anytime soon.

2 years, 2 chances, will have nothing to show for it. Pray & hope he/they don't meltdown again next year.

Kawhi is coming. Steph/Durant will absolutely be back in the mix. (Durant kinda sorta in it this year). Giannis. Karl-Anthony. AD. Maybe one last one for LeBron.

Oh well. Whatever. Beat 'em in the first I guess? Or not? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

8 wins isn't even that much. Curry had 11 more wins the year he won over Harden.

He also got the 50 pt, giving him 3 to hardens 2 (yea, 1 was OT but still).

Yea his team helps him on the rebounds, but his stats are really high. 2 rebs a game is still 160+ rebounds more.

I think 6 seeds shouldn't have an MVP, but it's really hard to look the other way. Honestly, if Houstonians are salty, it shouldn't be at Westbrook, but more towards Curry, who won when James had way better numbers AND the number 2 seed.

I'm just mocking the folks who claim Westbrook doesn't deserve it. Do I want harden to win, yes. I just find it funny how people here discredit Westbrook knowing damn well if the roles were reversed and James avg'd a trip-dub with 45 wins and Russ was 3rd seed with harden's stats, they'd still say harden was MVP.

I don't even think it will be close at this point. The narrative completely changed as the second half of the season wore on and suddenly harden was on a loaded team with a perfect fit that everyone knew would work and Westbrook was proving critics wrong by outperforming expectations despite a bad roster.

Harden is 11 assists away from 900. He would be 11th player to get 900 in a season.

    Nash season high was 898
    Oscar Rob high was 899

It is what it is. Westbrook is having monster games every other day while Harden hasn't done anything memorable in weeks. Westbrook has the narrative and all of the momentum. There will be tremendous outrage if Harden were to win the award after what Westbrook has done. The media, ex-players, and majority of fans want him to win.

Current players are rallying behind him as well. It sucks, but there's no way he doesn't win it now.

Yup, I'm pretty sure WB will win the player's MVP after this season's over.
