Westbrook will get another avalanche "media boost" when he hits 42 3x2s. Either today or in the final 2.

The one who posted about the narrative was spot on: Westbrook was always going to win it if he did well. All year it's been about him, just like Curry in 2015. No matter how well Harden does, 90% will go with the narrative.

I mean how are they getting those probabilities? Seems like something they're just making up for the sake of clicks. Lol

Not sure how ESPN Forecast works. But if they are internal people, the echo chamber feeds itself.

Harden's game is getting uglier and uglier by the day. It's all jacking up 3s or trying to draw fouls now. Even as a Rockets fan, I can't enjoy his gimmicky style anymore. No more beautiful step-backs or euro steps, which used to be the only redeeming aspect of Harden's game. Also, his passing is not as crisp and on point as it was in the beginning of the season.

MVP is not only about wins or personal numbers; it's also about how you lead your team to victory. I think many voters hold reservations with regard to Harden because his game is so ugly that on a gut level it just feels wrong to reward such style of play.

Also, how about stop b****in' about MVP and actually play like one? When is the last time Harden had an MVP like performance? Those games come way too few and far between for Harden and that's a problem, whereas Westbrook seems to have those kinds of performances and make headlines every two or three games.

    1) You're including a game he didn't even play

    2) If health isn't relevant then okay!

It was his choice to play through the injury, which many of us here said was a stupid decision, and will ultimately hurt his MVP chances. So, that's what you get for making a dumb choice. To make things even worse, Westbrook was on fire while Harden was playing like ass, and this drastic contrast really shifted the national MVP narrative.

Russell just clinched it with his 42nd T-D. Oops, and the game winner. Congrats to Westbrook.

Westbrook just hit the game winner and had a 50 point triple double while breaking Oscar's record for the most triple doubles in a season. He's the MVP. He clinched it. This dude is so clutch this year, it's unreal.

If the MVP race wasn't already over (it was), it is now officially over.

Westbrook just hit a ridiculous game winning 3 vs The Nuggets.

    Harden is fricked.

Welp that should just about do it. Props to our guy Harden for playing his ass off this year. Only way to heal the wound is to beat the **** out of OKC.
