And we freaking beat OKC three out of four. Oh yeah, they're not elite..... But that doesn't matter for MVP anymore for the first time ever.

There is literally, and I mean literally, zero team-related thing that can be used to imply Westbrook > Harden. Zero. None. Zilch. Nada. There is nothing.

I'm willing to listen to arguments from people but the amount of acrobatic logic that people have to go through to put down Harden and prop up Westbrook is frustrating. Winning and good teammates are negative components in an MVP race. Just think about how completely stupid that sounds. Never mind that Harden is the lone all-star on this squad.

Facts really are not that important. America has chosen.

Tell that to them, I keep hearing about how they have beat all the elite teams anyways so in their minds that negates the Rockets team record completely.

You guys should give it up.

Not sure why you keep making yourselves miserable in this thread. Westbrook already won MVP.

Rachel Nichols and Kevin Arnovitz are "undecided." But Rachel admits that just about every ex-NBA player that comes through their studios is full on for Westbrook and that is swaying her a bit.

BTW, on the Zach Lowe podcast with Windhorst, Windhorst brought up the "ex-players likes Westbrook" thing to Lowe and Lowe mentioned that he has talked to a lot of "current players" that are full on for HARDEN. Thought that was interesting. Maybe the ex-players feel like Westbrook is "more hard core and tough" like them.

Another side note on Windhorst (from the Lowe podcast), in the Tim Bontemps Media straw poll Windy voted for Kawhi, but now is undecided. (he voted for Harden in 2015).

Lol These ex players are obviously trying to get paid to be the next talking head muppet mfs on espn. Some of them are being honest tho. But Damon Statoumeir adds nothing to the discussion, career loser. (My spell check says Fck his last name)

The world isn't fair. Nothing is fair. Fair was never guaranteed. All you can do is make the best of your situation, or fight for fairness and expect to lose, but your heirs may benefit from it. :D

Nichols doesn't have a vote right? She's an idiot.

It bothers me that the same argument (better record/seeding) that carried Curry in 2015 and every MVP for the last 30 years is going to be thrown out of the window because of 2 extra rebounds per game. Harden will have been screwed out of the award twice in three years. His competitive fire is going to be powered by jet fuel.

As a minority of an opinion as it may be, I am of the opinion that the voters may fool us because of what all the tv pundits are pushing, and instead Harden may win by a small margin to become the MVP! Even if they ignore it or don't say it on tv, they ALL KNOW that team wins matter. They ALL KNOW that no MVP in over 30 plus years has been on a 6th seed team, and had less than 50 wins. They talking heads may not discuss this, but ALL THE VOTERS already know this is true.

I don't know about her specifically but the national media has the vote this season. Local media use to have a vote too but they took it away this year.

as far as I know, no vote has happened yet. ;) All of this (134 pages worth) is just rank speculation.

    lmao

Rachel Nichols goes on TV every single day and essentially compares Westbrook to Jesus Christ. Spare me the "undecided" nonsense.

It's impossible to be undecided at this point. If you're genuinely needing these last 4 games to decide your vote, you're a fool.

I believe Nichols DOES have an MVP vote. Yeah, not sure I buy her "undecided."

Imagine being dumb enough to truly believe that Westbrook "rescued" the Thunder after being a primary reason that Durant left in the first place.
