BTW, I am not a stats geek, but I recognize their value.

Kevin Pelton doing a deep dive on the MVP race using STATS and then crowning Westbrook....that feels like it seals it. Maybe some stat people can poke holes in his arguments. I don't know. I always thought Harden had the stats on his side, but if he doesn't, he is done.

Still arguing about this? Westbrook will win MVP. It's over. Harden shat the bed in the last few games while Westbrook is on fire right now, and people don't care about Harden's wrist injury. Also, l'm not really sure that we play much better when Harden is on the court. His mediocre impact stats suggest that Harden is not the sole reason for our team success this year, and a lot of contributions also came from other players on this team, especially our bench unit. Curry two years ago was different in that GSW was still significantly better when Curry was on the court rather than off.

Morey needs to send all of these facts that we bring up here on Clutchfans to Shannon Sharpe. Guys like Sharpe need to come with irrefutable facts and sound counterpoints in order to beat these pro-Westbrook fools. That or Jared Greenberg and Howard Beck need to make the rounds on shows like 1st Take and Undisputed. They'll never get that chance tho, their voices won't be heard.
