One could tell he was not clutch but damn...shocking just how mentally weak it turns out he is. They may even come back to win this game somehow, but sorry to say that the Rockets will probably not win much of significance as long as he is their top player and "leader".
only way we win is if Dantoni goes full McHail and benches Harden. Bench him now for war crimes against Rockets fans.
He can overcome this, but only if he wins a championship rings can erase your past history and reshape your legacy, that's what it will take for Harden at this point, what he does in the regular season is pointless
I'm affraid James Harden will have a hard time living this down in Houston. Reminds me of the Matt Schaub situation. These last two games have done major damage to his image in the city.
LeBron James had an 8 point game in the finals against the Mavericks with Wade and Bosh as his teammates. Harden either succumbs to the grind and the pain or he will get better from it.
Harden absolutely shrank is one of the most crucial games in his career thus far. 2 shots at half time was absolutely pathetic. I've been a supporter of his for MVP all yeah but what he did tonight just shows he isn't that tier of being really great
Well lucky for him no one comes to the games anyway. I doubt he's afraid of Joe Sixpack yelling at him from the couch.
sorry but harden doesn't look like the type of guy to get better from this. he seems like the type of guy to keep doing the same **** over and over and over again. he really might be the new carmelo.
hopefully harden can learn from this and if not let's bring back Lowry and we are in desperate need of heart and fight, losing is one thing and losing without fighting is def a disgrace to an athlete, James have been here 4 years, and never once he showed up for playoffs
There's nothing to learn at this point of his career. You either have it or you don't. Harden does not
Harden has some soul searching to do . . . . He bounced back after last year better than ever. He now has to focus on the PLAYOFFS . . . . . Maybe LeBron, Pop etc were right . . . maybe he needed more rest But more importantly. . . he has to dedicate himself to the sport LOOK I will be honest. . . I would have been SHOCKED if we beat the Spurs and the Warriors We definitely could have beat the Spurs . .. . This team has not topped out . . . . Rocket River
Harden still has a chance to be great - just needs an aha moment. LeBron was 27 before he won his first title.
tired of reading this bullshit. james harden was the best player in the season this year. just because the narrative did not dictate as such, he had to carry this team on his back and he had a couple of bad games in the playoffs - and dont get me wrong, he deserves criticism. but it is not a binary; you can criticize without devolving to "fire everyone, he's the worst, he's mentally weak." i'll cheer him on while y'all call for some dumbass trade. im glad ppl clapped for him at the end, hes a true rocket and y'all are seeing the best franchise player since hakeem. get out of here with this bullshit
The point is . . bad players have great games. . even great series Good players have bad games and bad series. Rocket River
