I'd personally disagree, but really it's all about who you play well with. Different people are good with different players in the game.
Predictions for other rockets Lin: 75 Bev: 74 Brooks: 74 Caanan: 65 Parsons: 78 Asik: 75 Howard: 91 Jones: 67 D-Mo: 66 Smith: 65 Camby: 67
Does anybody else think rating somebody a 99 is too much? Is it supposed to be among the rest that he is better? 99 basically means perfect and perfect means not missing anything/no obstacles which isn't fairly realistic. I think they should top it off at 96.
Paul George is starting to get overrated. He's only a better rebounder cuz he's 6"9. His scoring leaves much to be desired and he is not a playmaker. He's more of the Pippen type player, a very good second option on a championship team.
Agreed. I'm not even sure he deserved his all star appearance. Let alone the superstar rep some people are trying to give him. Anyway, onto the list... LeBron too high, should be in there 95-97 range Durant too low, should be maybe 1-2 points below LeBron Melo too high, no D and still a ballhog WB too high, too many dumb mistakes on both sides of the ball and still can't shoot the three Harden too low, should be above WB and 90 or above Paul George WAAAY too high, should be in the mid 80's tops Monta Ellis also way too high, guy is more of a liability than anything at this point...
Yup. Playoff darlings are always overrated. This year it was Steph Curry and Paul George. Both great, great players, but they were being talked up like Top 10 players, and that's just not where they're at.
The way Paul George played in last years playoffs, he should be ranked higher than Harden. Offensively, Harden has the slight edge. But defensively George is light years better than Harden. Harden's defense was embarrassing at times last year. Truth
I was going to predict him at 88 this year so 89 is nice. I say Parsons is at 79, MAYBE 80 depending on how the devs view him.
That looks pretty high overall. NBA 2K tends to try to mix in some low ratings, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of your mid 60s end up being low 60s. Asik will probably be around 71 or so. Brooks roughly the same. For what it's worth, the final NBA 2K13 update (which came out in June) had: J.Lin: 75 J.Harden: 88 C.Parson: 78 D. Howard: 90 (w/ Lakers) P.Beverley: 73 A.Brooks: 76 R.Brewer: 72 (w/ Thunder) F.Garcia: 68 R.Williams: 66 (w/ Bobcats) O.Casspi: 62 (w/ Cavs) T.Jones: 59 D.Motiejunas: 58 O.Asik: 70 M.Camby: 73 (w/ Knicks) G.Smith: 58
Harden is definitely better than Paul George offensively. It's not a "slight edge", but a pretty distinct gap. Better scorer, playmaker, gets to the line more, shooter. But yes...Harden is nowhere close to George defensively. George could be a DPOY candidate down the line possibly.
90 for now. I am tempted to give him a little bit lower rating due to his atrocious defense. Basketball after all isn't a one way street. Hopefully he'll be better, then I'll give him the 3rd best rating behind LBJ and KD. Harden certainly has the talent to at least go near those 2. A season or 2 with Howard might do the trick.
