I do not agree with Harden giving upon effort with only a few games in with a full roster and blaming teammates lacking talent but let's not ignore that the sole reason the Rockets made playoffs all these years and the conference final is because of him. Time and time again we have seen many athletes act this way when they want to get traded so Harden is no exception. But he may dislike the owner, coach, GM, etc all he wants to, and maybe they even suck but that does not mean he should stop being professional when he is still getting paid in full.
When McGrady doesn’t foul the layup, he quit. When Harden plays ole defense (and doesn’t even get back after turning it over), Harden and his stans are yelling at teammates. When McGrady stands at half court not involved in the offense, he quit. When Harden stands at half court out of the picture, “but but yeah it’s by design! It’s his gravitational forces! This is how it’s supposed to look!”
The Morey/Harden Era is done. They got to the West Finals twice and the Warriors were better. Why is James still here and Tillman allowed Morey to walk? Trade Harden and build something new.
It wont work because Harden wont let Embiid do his thang, like he did with Dwight. Let Harden and Morey pair up and fail. 76's going to be a bigger joke than Rockets.
I'm feeling really sorry about that NBA league pass purchase I make every year so I can watch my Rockets from Austin. I'm sad to say Harden has definitely quit and I don't want to watch it anymore. Just bench him and let the other guys play.
They are both at the mercy of terrible ownership. The Texans have had terrible owners since their inception. The Rockets are new to this. But in terms of "winning mentality", Watson has that over Harden. He's just in a sport where he he has less control.
