Every year the MVP talk starts ..

and every year I say the only MVP we need to root for is Finals MVP...

They have to base these on popularity polls- not statistical models. Doncic will win two MVPs before Harden will win another because “narrative”.

This is stats only. You have to take into account media bias, which will move him down to the 100th spot, unless he gets traded.

    Fake news.

    MVPs and stats win championships.

unlike last year when he tried to tinker with coming up with new moves (3 point running hook shot)

it looks like he stuck with working on being more efficient with his 3's and layups and passing

Are the yearly results for this tracker archived?

    Edit:

I see results going back to 2017 at web.archive.org. It ultimately correctly predicted the MVP each year, except in 2017 it predicted Harden would win it instead of Westbrook.

Of course, that’s prediction based on a full season of data, not a handful of games.

Math models can't take human spite and irrationality into account (e.g. the media)

    CP3 deserved one.

I think one season in Nola he went toe to toe with the Kirby.

    Or was it Timmy.

the media will not be giving Harden another MVP as long as he is in Houston so this means nothing
