Iam right there with you. This team is resilient though i still believe we will learn from this and win in 7

They played the replay so quickly I couldn't completely tell, but that last "steal" Simmons had looked like he didn't even come close to hitting ball.

And that is the most frustrating part. Every one of those types of calls went the Spurs way.

The only call that went the Rockets way? They had the wrong guy for the Spurs on a jump ball that never should have been a jump ball in the first place.

Harden plays like he did pre-Khloe and we probably sweep the Spurs

I still can't believe they called that harden "push off" to end regulation .

99.9 percent of the time that goes uncalled ... It really wasn't much of a push , it was more body to body contact .

The fact that our ****ing superstar can't get that call ... Or at least get a no call is absurd .

Remember when kawhi ran over Ariza with no call ? That was much more of an offensive foul .

    Jonathan ****ing Simmons gets more
Respect that James harden .. Unbelievable

James didn't have a good second half no doubt , no excuse . But even then we should have taken the lead on that play ... BS call

I knew they would call it after it was in the report in the OKC series

Refs are watching harden for it now. The stuff that worked in the regular season isn't now

Harden went 7-9 from inside the arc, but went 4-15 from deep. Why does he keep on jacking up threes like he's Curry when he shoots Westbrook percentages from out there? I just don't understand it. He has regressed to being a mediocre shooter at best but keeps taking over 10 threes a game. 15 threes from him is just unnecessary and unacceptable. Stop.

These days, a great night for Harden from 3 is going like 4-11 or 5-13, and if he's not doing that, then he's going 1-9, 2-12, or 4-15. U will rarely see him go something like 5-8 or 6-10. His shooting touch has regressed the last 2 seasons.

Man , it was just so little contact .

    1) Simmons flopped like a fish
    2) kawhi does that every play . And gets the defense called for fouls .

Harden was garbage offensively at the end, but I've never seen him more visibly gassed than he was at that point. Also haven't seen him play that hard on defense in two years... probably related, but this 7-man rotation **** just isn't gonna work against a team as deep as the Spurs. They had so much more energy than us at the end. We need to get Dekker and Trez some minutes.

That one hurt... Never has the ridiculous sports cliche "they didn't win it, we lost it" been more appropriate.

Certainly didn't help that almost all the 50/50 calls seemed to go the Spurs way, though (again).

unacceptable to lose to this spurs team without parker and kawhi not playing 4th/OT.

harden gave them free points off his turnovers alone.

and people who only blame losses on the 4th quarter or overtime are nuts. You can't be in that position if you don't play well early in games

The real problem with that call on Harden at the end of the 4th was that Simmons took two steps back and then jumped backwards like he was shot with a 12 gauge.

Harden was gassed at the end of the game. He reverted back to his normal mode of play from last year. Dribble, dribble, dribble... 6 seconds left.. make a move.. ehh, didn't work, jack up a wild 3.

I'm not that upset. It would be nice if the Rockets could capitalize with no Parker and Kawhi hurt or whatever.

    However.... what's the point?

l would rather watch the Spurs get rolled by Golden State then us AGAIN.

We are multiple players short of competing with Golden State and/or Cleveland.

The Rockets would be better served having Harden hanging out next week in Los Angeles trying to get big name free agents to come here than getting rolled by Golden State again. We don't have a punchers shot. We have a IF Curry, Durant, and Lebron all get hurt we MIGHT have a chance shot

People want to act like tonite was a normal 43 minutes for Harden
How many of those minutes was he wrestling with Gasole and Lamarcus?

Someone leaning on you all game. . it much different than being on the parameter.

Too bad this game didn't end up in a victory. Harden played one heck of a game with triple double plus excellent post defense against Spurs legit 7 footers. Only if he could protect the ball in the last few minutes of reg time and OT.

I wasn't going to respond. But felt compelled to. Obviously the expectation is yourbsuperstar performs better down the stretch.

But the story in the NBA has been the same across decades. Teams win. Superstars lead them but teams win. This should have been a 15 point win.

Unfortunately the moronic move to put Gordon in the starting lineup completely messed the teams flow. Whereas Gordon and Williams had been solid on the best, they both struggled in the new rotation. And Ariza struggled becoming the starting PF. And the team struggled down the stretch. They could t even set a reasonable pick.

MDA lost is the game before it even started. What a boneheaded rotation change. We f'ing saw Gordon as a starter briefly mid season due to injury. It doesn't work.

And oh btw Harden did defer when he realized he was being guarded super tight and it's not like his teammates did squat. Gordon couldn't hang onto the ball either.

I'm not sold on the Rockets winning a ring with Harden... but with him or without him, you can't role with a 7 man rotation that completely f'd up your rotation and schemes.
