Click was right about a lot of things. It’s a shame he couldn’t figure out how to play the game with Crane. That ‘22 season was magical and his fingerprints were all over it.
It's an easy game to play, that Meyers would have been this guy sooner if not for the injury. I tend to not believe it would be that straightforward, but the injury clearly made him take a major detour. I don't think he gets enough credit for improvement since he was drafted. He's clearly not a natural hitter, and was pretty meh in the minors but he kept working at it and by 2020 was starting to make some noise..then the pandemic hit. He missed a year but came back in 21 and killed it. Got promoted and held his own....then the injury happened. He kept working at it and appears to have really figured something out. Sadly his arm still hasn't come close to pre injury levels.
