Damn he's nearly a yard behind the FT line. Sounded legit. Very impressive.

He better make it to the final round. If he pulls it he wins. I don't care if Dwight dunks on a 13 foot rim.

This is one of those things you have to see to believe? If it's done, I highly doubt it can be done any further. I thought the FT line was the max.

at first i thought they messed up the camera work, but guess they ONLY want us to see the reflection and he'll do it again in the dunk contest

Not legit. If you see 40 secs into the vid where he moves the camera down. You can see the hoop's reflection on the floor. Then when moon goes for the dunk he doesn't really even reach for the hoop in the reflection, they just add the sound effect.

The world record for the long jump is what, 8.5 meters...basically 29 feet. At the top of the NBA 3 point line, it is 23 feet, 9 inches away, so that's somebody jumping all the way from the top of the 3 point line to 5 feet beyond the basket.

Granted, that's not jumping up and dunking a basketball on a rim 10 feet in the air, or even close....but still, there's no reason to believe that someone can't currently or won't in the future be able to dunk a ball from beyond the 3 point line.

I just hope he doesn't pull a Josh Smith and put a piece of tape on the ground just inside the 3 point line and then jump 8 feet closer.

Waaaait. Only a few of the most athletic guys in the nba can dunk from the free-throw line, which is 15 feet, and you think someone can or will do it from 23?
