Thanks. The ideal center/ PF to pair with Wood is a defense and rebounding first type with length, quickness, some physical strength along with a mid range jumper. Noel doesn't have all these qualities since he is light, but he isn't scared of contact. I would consider going after him in the off season if he's fit. I believe he's a UFA. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I wish you a good night.

    No he isn’t.

The Rockets had no idea Porter would start throwing food and have to be removed by security resulting in his release. The Harden deal was completely separate from Porter and should be judged that way.

    So short sighted.

The 15 game losing streak is the whole point.
Have to maximise chance at that top pick..

The losing streak was not planned by Silas, that would be career suicide.

And Rockets only have 48% chance of keeping their pick.

This is not a strategy, its desperation.

Use the 3 FRP and bundle with Dipo to move up into top 3, no tank necessary.

In any event, being WORST offense in the NBA is pathetic.

No doubt it's pathetic, but I'm not in favor of using 3 FRP's to move into the top 3, even though we're desperate in need. I know OKC has got us by the balls because Morey and TF surrendered to them in the Westbrook trade. Only sheer luck can help us acquire a top 4 pick. Lack of execution/talent, plus injuries and the poor selection of Oladipo have led us to this miserable situation.

Ben Simmons Himself said He does not want to be Traded to Houston.

    Meaning He Will Leave Houston.

Plus his High Salary With No Offensive Ability in Shooting 3 Pointers and Can't Create a Shot For Himself in Critical Parts of the Game Hurts the Team.

His Shooting Form is The Worst in the NBA.

His Australian Coaches did the Worst Job for him.

Ben Simmon Coaches must be Construction Workers.

With All the Bricks Ben Simmons Throws Up There.

    This is why.

I also hope KPJr rewards the Rockets and more importantly: himself, by not blowing the chance this Org is giving him.

    Once again....

Of course that was the last straw for Cleveland. That is obvious.
What I'm saying is the deal was at least born out of the Harden discussions.
You know we inquired about KPJ...
Whether it was agreed on we'd get more shipped later so the deal could get pushed through....or whatever. Especially when considering the apparent lopsided nature of the part of the deal relating to Cleveland.
There are over 30 teams in the NBA. His last tantrum happens four days later. Then he's shipped here. ( becoming James's replacement/ the right age for our rebuild) And, we are the only team with JL. You don't think KPJ was a target in the Harden deal? Not related? C'mon ...you know the odds involved here?

Yes, the reward far outweighs the risk imo.

It's a heavily protected 2nd round pick from what I've read. Guessing that means if he gets in trouble again in the public or with the law: Rockets
    keep that 2nd round pick.

I'm also guessing Porter will excel as a Rocket. Listed as 6'4" but many saying he is actually 6'6", ability to elevate, fast, elusive, great floor vision, great passing skills, good finisher, decent floaters, uses the board well for layups, the hit the mid range as well as 3-pointer with consistently.....only thing is anger issues off the court. Stay away from substance abuse.

Houston will probably be a better setting for him. Lucas guidance of stress reducing techniques along with knowing Wall is a vet that has been an
All Star for about 4 seasons but will soon be moved to the bench will probably be ok with Porter. Unlike Collin Sexton blocking his way and being
treated like a misfit step child.

Again doesn't matter u would have traded him. His value is higher then olidapo. Why people don't understand u was just trading for the asset

Are you watching 76ers right now without Embiid?

Just scored 110 points in 3 quarters, their 3 point shooting is thru the roof with Simmons setting up 4 shooters.

Simmons has been the best at assisted 3's the last 2 seasons.

And Dipo said he wanted to play for Heat, Stone and Silas traded for him anyway.

So you want Ben Simmons Bricking 3 Point Shots with Our Team that Bricks 3 Point Shots.

The Rockets Rank #3 in 3 Point Attempt

Ranked Last in 3 Pointers Made.

He would have been the worst option for the rockets. Your best player that can’t shoot. They would have just sagged off him and invited him to shoot. And that would probably continued for at least 2-3 more seasons.

You both fail to grasp what he does best, which is finish at the rim, turn defense into offense, turbo charges transition game, most efficient generating open 3's via his passing and is elite defending 1-5.

All areas that Rockets desperately need improvement.

Dont take it from me, take it straight from Pop.

And this is before 76ers shellacked the Spurs by 30+.
