He's getting great shots as it is. He simply needs to develop a floater or some other midrange mechanism to take advantage of those shots. He gets into the lane and has a step on his defender and rather than take that 8 foot gimmie, he continues to the rim and often takes a contested and often double teamed shot. He can get these open midrange shots literally any time he wants be that in isolation (less than 3 possessions per game) or in the pick and roll. It's time to stop blaming everything on the coaches or teammates for the ineffectiveness / inefficiency of specific players. They are just young and learning ....
