Which is more of a fan? A.Celebrates when a player on a team plays well, even if he's inconsistent, and hopes for him to fully break out and be the all-star scorer the team needs. B.Finds as many reasons to criticise a player on the team as possible, discounts any good play or successes and hopes for him to fail, which means the team loses out overall. It's such a tough conundrum, I understand why people find it so difficult...
Optimistically pessimistic, if that makes any sense. I think it's totally possible that Green could hit that next level. He may even have a superstar ceiling. However, I think there's also a very good chance he ends up as a microwave scorer a la Jordan Clarkson, which would be disappointing, but guys like Clarkson can make a lot of money in the NBA.
