I'm sure in a t least one game Bruno Fernando was better an Sengun.

That's a horrible way of analyzing if a skillet is replaceable.

Why do you call 15 games leading the league in on/off impact "AAU" and then wax lyrical about players and their ability to replace Green over a summer league exhibition game?

    Do you see the irony?

If those 15 games against NBA teams like the Thunder, Cavs, Kings etc are AAU games what was summer league? Preschool?

    Can someone define "AAU ball"?

Like is it basically guard centric pnr heavy offense?

Jalen's 3pt % has been 33% in ignite and his last 3 seasons which makes believe he will be a 33% 3PT shooter the rest of his career

    His gleague percentage was 37%?

Green is a career 34% 3 pt shooter in the NBA.

Cam is a 36% 3 pt shooter for one season on a shot diet that Jalen Green never experienced in terms of simplicity and easiness.

Playing starter minutes for 82 games also can effect shooting numbers. Being more relied on offense is going to drain more energy.

So that 2 percent difference is more easily accounted for with those factors than Cam being a better natural shooter.

His shooting stroke is a very exaggerated 2 motion shot while Green has a more effortless one motion shot. And then there is their career ft%.

    1: 43-34-80
    2: 42-34-79
    3: 42-33-80

Some year 4 improvement would be a relief. With his Kevin Martin frame, I think it’s important that his shooting percentages improve.

You can tell the people using him as a comparison never ever watched Martin play if they're using him as a "similar to Jalen" type of player because they're both skinny. They're not even remotely built the same physique wise either loll

Honestly, we need to move on from Jalen Green. Trade him while he's still got some value. Free up minutes for Sheppard and Whitmore.

Martin definitely had decent athleticism and could do some nice dunks in open space but ya he has no where what the explosion and force as Jalen.

The Kevin Martin comparison is a new one though from left field.

    She
Sheppard cannot start alongside FVV. Sheppard can only replace Jalen when Amen replaces FVV.

My preferred depth chart. Maybe Eason overtakes Dillon Brooks by mid-year.

    Amen / FVV
    Sheppard / Jalen Green
    Brooks / Eason
    Jabari / Jeff Green
    Sengun / Adams

I think we need to move Jalen Green to make space for Cam Whitmore at the 2 and 3.

I’d have Cam/Tari and jettison Brooks.

    I'd make a few changes

    FVV/Sheppard
    Jalen/Cam
    Brooks/Amen
    Jabari/Tari
    Sengun/Adams

Hopefully FVV, Jalen, and Brooks would all be off the team either at the trade deadline or next offseason.

I agree but believe Amen will start over Brooks at the 3. Of course it could be the way you have it with Amen getting a ton more minutes.

I just don't think Ime has it in him to bench his guy like that. He doesn't make his lineups based on merit.

If he would accept an AVERAGE nba salary, that could work.

You could be right however I do not think Brooks will be here past next season. FVV and Brooks will both be gone by the 25/26 season. Jalen's future is in his on hands. If he starts off poorly he will be gone. If he plays well consistently he will likely get a max offer in RFA and it will be interesting to see if the team matches.

How many teams can afford to offer JG a max deal? Can’t be too many out there.
