Not far fetched and I could see this possibly happening when the time comes since he only has 2 more season left on his contract. Would be nice but we'll see.

If anyone else said this I woulda brushed it off. But Jalen rose is legit. His sources are legit. He predicted the harden trade, and he predicted the Dwight Howard signing to Houston.

So Durant is a FA when Lin and Asik expire in two years? Parsons, Lin, and Asik for Durant next year maybe? Let's hope OKC has a terrible season.

So Harden is going to want to take a back seat again?

Harden never had an issue taking a back seat, he just wanted to be paid at the level of his talent.

To all those saying we can just him up for Lin and Asik's expiring that doesnt work if u look at the salaries
    HOU TEAM

so maybe my thoughts it would have to be to pick up the contracts of bev DMo and Tjones and then sign a bunch of guys who either would be easy to trade or a bunch of guys to one year deals much like we have done this year with 2nd year team options.

it could be achievable however KD would have to even take a pay cut just to join us which really wont happen IMO unless he buckles under the espn first take pressure of skip and comes to and plays for chanlder parsons money :)

    anyways we love u KD

If egos and the salary cap don't get in the way, it's definitely possible. Especially if the Rockets win a title(or at least get to the Finals) in the next 2 seasons. That would be enough to sell Durant on coming here(assuming OKC doesn't win a title or go to the Finals).

You figure by that point, Dwight will be willing to take more of a defensive role on the team since that'll extend his career(and he's gonna be on the verge of signing a new contract at that point). And if Harden and Durant can co-exist and share the ball, it could work.
