I’m thinking now that Jabari is the guy if we are lucky enough to have the chance to pick him. I’m guessing he’s going to go number one. A lot can happen, but when it’s all said and done I think he’s going to outshine all the others. I’m not sure he’s going to be a hall of fame franchise type player, but he has a skill set that should translate into the NBA game pretty much immediately. We’d be lucky as hell to have him.

So you are saying the goal of picking best talent for the spot is better than picking fit? Lets say another SG is best talent over all and his potential is 8 max vs green's 9 and the guy who has a much better fit is 7.5. You are stating that you would rather have redundancies which would probably lead to bad chemistry and having one of those players leave after their contract is up 100% vs someone who would fit better, make the team better, increase chemistry and most likely resign? Hmm. I would rather have the team win and players happy over someone who is a micron better talent than the next guy up. Sure if you have the next Jordon in the draft then get him, but this draft is most likely not even as strong as last one, there will be no MJ's.

Got to say this. Chet is a White American player. I’m sorry but White American players rarely make it in this league at all star level in today’s NBA. We need an all star in this draft I see him as becoming very injury prone. Especially as the NBA and his team and trainers try to get added weight to his natural very very lean body. His joints/ankles/knees won’t make it even into Jalen’s prime. Jabari could very well have lower extremity issues but I feel that Jabari could turn into Bosh-ish type guy, someone who could help and be very valuable to deep playoff teams. Can’t wait to see Chet against Embid and KAT. That length won’t do anything under the basket. This league is made for mismatches and plays within the game itself, unless your coach is Pop. We want to play fast. Chet will be a bigger bust then Greg Oden. I’ll bet 3 ETH on it.

Jabari is the way guys. He fits our core like a glove. All we need is a Capela like big man, a rim protector and I feel we can either find him later in this year or next years draft or via free agency. We don’t have to figure this all out in two seasons, but the sooner the better of course.

And where is Canada? I'm assuming the racist was referring to the US but technically "American" encompasses a lot of countries. I mean there are two of them.

Ok I'll stop being a dork now.

I like this except I like a Steven Adams type player with some range. Rockets players are too soft these days.

You discredit an otherwise fair post by implying Chet’s ethnicity is a cause of his future success or failure.

I want to see what people will say about Wembenyama, these topics better stay consistent when he’s up for draft.

He’s just as skinny but even bigger, far more potential for “size” related injuries.
