They all look to blame Jalen, when Brooks, Alpi, and FVV had bad games.

I don't know if he WILL or WON'T bounce back but that's what I'm mostly interested in - players can have bad games but good players recognize their last games weren't up to their standards, MAKE IT A POINT to come out and have a great game with intensity and aggressiveness. average players just shrug it off and "oh well" it off, we'll see

Plenty of people were blaming only Sengun. I think they just both happened to have a bad day. Amen played well. Fred got credited with a lot of steals. That's about it.

No one can have a bad day. Crazy how people react. We aren't going to win them all.

Alperen was mostly terrible tonight. yet Jalen was flat out the worst nba player for its performance tonight. Cam and Tari was also selfish and ugly for no reason. They need to be disciplined.

It wasn't just him that has a "bad game" and it's clear he wasn't healthy i was at the game and he was limping alot.

Are you talking about Sengun or Jalen? I didn't notice.

Bad time to go back to the old Jalen, hope he starts a new streak next game.

He hurt his hand from the last game, probably affected his shooting performance.

It was time for Sengun to carry the load instead he got repeatedly bullied by Jalen Duren.

Sure, there's always an excuse, I just hope he won't need many more.

You think every person in the NBA has to have a great game every single match of his life otherwise it's an excuse?

Where's this same energy for Reed Sheppard? Based on your logic every single game Sheppard has played he's been trash right? How many excuses does Sheppard need? He ain't even injured like Green he just sucks ass. 30 games not a single great game for him and almost every game is terribad that's why he only sees play in garbage time. How many excuses you think Reed Sheppard needs Bobby?

They’re exhausted exactly like the middle of last season when you guys were blaming individuals for our dip (6-16). Just everyone’s fault and especially Jalen/Alpi as offensive leaders.

They’re just obviously exhausted and playing through minor injuries more than other teams right now.

Not sure what the solution is, they better get their ish together the schedule is about to get tough AF for like 2 weeks.

My suggestion is to expand the rotation till Jabari is back even if it means a little less talent/chemistry/defense in the beginning. In the long run it will help our best guys get back on their feet.

So you're attempting a false whataboutism to cover up the fact that you were predictably making up lame excuses for a poor performance?

    Never change

I say 40 games because we've seen for 3 years Jalen put short spurts together, only to continually revert back to his normal self.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

We're at about fool me 10 times with Jalen right now.

He's going to need to have an extended period - whether unfair or not - in order to change perception about him.

I agree wholeheartedly with you about he's earned the right to have an off game with his past couple of week's performance. So will be interesting to see how his next couple of games go.

What a gross overreaction to a normal post.

Exactly what part of the post was wrong?

Just my opinion... i don't look at Jalen's 1st 2 years with Silas - there was no coaching there for him to learn and grow from.

There's a real leader and coach now. I'm more interested to see how continues to grow from last year to this year. I really wanted to see more consistency from him by mid-season to really know who we're getting night in and night out - good or bad. And so far it's been mixed with the exception of the last 2ish weeks.

Now we gotta see if the last 2 weeks were the exception or the norm moving forward.

If he has a bad game after every 5-10 good games - cool, i'm OK with that. But if he has 2 weeks of good stretches followed by 2-3 weeks of mediocrity, then it's time to re-evaluate

Mostly agree with you because Silas was horrid.

The only reason I'm not all in on jumping aboard that train is purely because Sengun was able to ball out whenever he was allowed the chance to outshine the #2 pick in those Silas years.

You nailed it with that last point.

Did we just see the most recent few week good stretch from Jalen, and he's going to revert to his normal self? Or will he have the odd bad game and pick himself up and (what we all hope for) go on another sustained good stretch.
