I mean other players have done this exact same thing. Eli Manning comes to mind - he and his father basically told the Chargers you better not draft me. Deion did the same. Scrubs don’t get that kind of attention nor would the media make a story out of it.

Jalen(Rose) is not wrong. The great ones do this like Alejandro choosing to wear jersey #2 because he didn't go first.
I expect Green to come to his HOF inauguration still firing shots @ Detroit.

And more reasons for Green's nickname to be "The Thriller" lol (second vid)

I thought Houstonians (myself included) were overly sensitive and defensive about our city. But this is a whole different level of butthurt. He barely even said anything

Kid's beefing with House for his jersey number.

Beefing with Detroit for not taking him.

I don't mind one or the other. But it's becoming a pattern.

Anyone pre-ordered Green’s jersey? Have they announced the official number? If not I think there’s a great chance House gets traded this summer.

and that makes it worse. At least Eli said it before the draft. Jalen was practically begging Detroit to pick him #1 and he wanted to live there. And once they didn't picked him he's like I still wish I was # 1 but I don't wana live there.

And whats up with his obsession with being pciked #1. Let your game speak and be #1 on the court in NBA games.

this jersey number drama is interesting. I hope JG kept the receipt for the iced out Number 4 chain he always wears. I think House plays this year out in Houston UNFORTUNATELY.

You guys are misunderstaNding this a bit. Think about his statements as a clarification. He was asked how he felt about Houston and answered honestly. He just wanted to go #1 it didnt necessarily mean "I have always wanted to live in Detroit". Kids talk differently than we do when he said "I want to live in Detroit" he was saying "I want to go #1". He woulda said that about whoever had the number 1 pick.

he said before the draft "I want to live in Detroit"
after the draft not being selected: "I don't want to live in Detroit"

are you saying he never said he wanted to live in Detroit before the draft?

No. These dudes dick ride Harden and don’t appreciate newer players just like the boomers here can sometimes dick ride Hakeem without appreciating newer players.

Difference is Hakeem was a champion and went into the HOF as a Rocket. Hakeem has earned that loyalty.

Harden stans are Cucks and support Nets > Rockets

    @Joe Rocket

"On Draft Day in 2004, Ole Miss quarterback Eli Manning was selected first overall by the San Diego Chargers even though he and his camp (mainly his father, Archie) had made it known publicly that he did not want to play in San Diego. The Chargers drafted Manning anyway and began to field trade offers."

we both clear on this right?

ELI clearly told the chargers before the draft he didn't want to be drafted #1
