Even after playoff failure stupid fans still make excuse for JG. Keep talking about this blitz and double team that never happened in game 7. JG was defended 1 on 1 most of the game. But no one dares to reply to me cause they are making up narrative in their head.
Jalen had 1 assist in game 7. He is a low IQ player and even if he makes it with the rockets into post season next year it will be the same, rockets won’t win a championship with him.

We can’t trade him. I mean there’s no market for him at all, pretty much we have to bundle extra 1st round pick to some team to take his $35 mil per year contract off of us. We just gotta bite the bullet and use him as 6th man and hopefully he can build some value during regular season so we can ship him out to desperate team.

Every year we keep Green from now on lowers his trade value. We won't be able to sell teams on the "he's young and inexperienced" argument with four seasons and a poor playoffs under his belt. Going into his fifth year he's a veteran and is paid accordingly. Jalen's had marginal improvements under Udoka. It would be folly to think he can take a leap and honestly I doubt anyone thinks he can, even his most ardent defenders here. Many players should be on the table to be packaged for an upgrade, but none as obvious as Jalen.

I think Jalen will be moved sometime between now and the trade deadline next season.

He'll be 24 next time the playoffs roll around and his value will be significantly lower with another mediocre season and playoff dud.

We saw what we needed to see, it's time to move him and maybe for his sake a change of scenery will light a fire under him.

Jalen needs a real 'stache to resemble Ted Lasso.

teams wud gamble with Jalens [inc0nsistencies] as l0ng as his c0ntract has a l0nger leash 0f 4-5 years, even with a 33mil a year tag

his 2 year c0ntract is what scares 0ther teams ---he can further step-up then run t0 free agency in just tw0 years

Jalen with all the hate, [inc0nsistencies], a 2 year c0ntract

    indirecly makes him...

    UNT0UCHABLE --

Jalen truly is the R0ckets Unt0uchable

It’s crazy because I was just thinking if we had Ant at the shooting guard position our team would literally be a championship contender.

Amen can lock down opposing guards like Steph or SGA but we desperately need that scoring from the SG position. We are literally one piece away from a decade of championship contention barring injuries.

Not to mention our young players haven’t even fully developed into their primes yet. We almost beat a “championship” warriors team without a shooting guard…

Well, who would Ant NOT help?

Clippers, Grizzlies, Lakers, Nuggets and Thunder arguably already have good shooting guards. Adding ANT would help them but it wouldn't drastically change their chances of making a deep playoff run. I was saying that our team literally is net negative at shooting guard and Ant's defensive ability fit our culture/team. Minny won't ever trade him tho.

Yes, a lot of the coverage Jalen was seeing they moved that onto Fred which I knew they would try to shut him down. I said Jalen would have to step up in Game 7 because they weren’t going to allow Fred to go off like the last two games. Jalen had a lot of 1 on 1 coverage and had his man beat several times but decided not to attack and was passive instead. You have a second year player in Amen trying to will the team to a win while Jalen stood by like a little b**** like it was another regular season game. Just a despicable performance at home in an elimination game. I’m sick of the excuses.

Thank you my man, people like @Mathloom and his team of fanboys are changing the narrative that Amen went off in game 7 because the double teams and blitz were on Jalen. I rewatched the whole game and never saw Jalen getting doubled or even attacking the lane much like you said. He was simply just hesitant and timid to attack the lanes. The defense was actually daring him to drive.

    I don't care.
Just get his ass out of here.

He is not good even as 6th man.
When your 6th man only put up 8 pts in 30 minutes, its still horrible.

The only team I could see taking Jalen is the Celtics if they were to lose against NYN. Jaylen Brown would be perfect to pair with Amen.

I think Derrick White is a better pair with Amen. The defense would be fire and he’s a great 3 point shooter.
