Culture of what? Getting destroyed by a 7th seed geriatric Warriors team who already lost Klay and Curry/Draymond in their twilight years? A team who lost their 2nd best player for 2 of the 4 games? A team that was close to missing the playoffs for much of the season? People thought Harden was a failure for not beating the Warriors. At least he had the excuse of facing arguably the most talented lineup in NBA history.

Oh yeah? Well, when he goes nuts next game your comment is gonna look real stupid! You just wait.

I'm glad impatient people like you aren't in charge of this team. He's only 19!

We need to stop disrespecting J. Crossover. Crawford is like 10 times better than Jalen, except for making wide-open dunks. Crawford would make us a legit contender this season.

This. Tired of hearing Bradley Beal 2.0 or Lavine 2.0. Jalen Green would have to improve to become Jordan Poole. Who by the way was an integral piece to a title team before anyone wants to retort with "Jalen Green plays winning basketball" or whatever. This team wins despite of him. Not because of him.

In fairness, the first time Corey Brewer played the Warriors in the playoffs he only averaged 10.8 points on 42% TS%.... which is only slightly better than Jalen has played in 3 of 4 thus far.

Of course Brewer was off the bench, not starting, so, yikes.

Great timing for his yearly slump run.

Exactly who he plays like. Its ultra frustrating. He actually has a ton more physical ability but doesn't use it properly.

He should hang up posters of Dwayne Wade in his room and just try to be that guy.

It would make the Rockets extremely hard to beat.

How can one possibly deem it a mere slump when a player consistently fails 70% of the time throughout his entire career? This is far beyond a temporary lapse; it is an utterly deplorable career failure that will render trading him a futile endeavor unless we are prepared to accept a pitiful return, akin to a worthless bag of chips.

Wade weighed 210+ as a rookie. Green weighs around 185 right now. Green would need to bulk up extensively if he wanted fo emulate Wades game and I don’t think he has the frame for it.

Jalen in the playoffs is pitiful. Shakey handles. No confidence in his jumper. Can't finish at the rim. Can't hit free throws. I knew he was done after he missed that technical FT in the 1st half. He has no swag or confidence in the two games in SF.

I'm down to trade him for Booker.

Jalen is becoming the Sam Bowie of his draft. Cade and Evan both rounding into form and look far better, plus more consistent.

I think bulking up would be the right move. The physical ability is elite elite.

He needs to live in the paint and free throw line.

If he is a confidence player, then he needs to see the ball go through the hoop.

I'm out on Jalen, but you need to realise that those numbers are straight up nonsense. Outside of the playoffs he did not "fail 70% of the time" at all. Do you even watch the games? It's literally the exact opposite, he scored less than 15 points in 30% of his games.

The problem with Jalen is that he doesn't really have all this talent people think he does.

Sure, he has some quickness and athleticism but he doesn't really have the handle, court awareness, or touch to capitalize on it consistently.

He often loses the ball trying to get past his man or has to have a perfect screen or long runway to get by even average defenders. He can't just go 1on1 like the great wings. Then, when he gets to the rim he lacks the ability to consistently change his shooting motion to adjust to defenders while keeping enough balance to maintain good touch on the layup. He also doesn't have great strength for his height so he's constantly adjusting to verticality instead going over or through the defense. His comp should be Devin Booker but he can't hit open shots (long or mid range).

I would say that Udoka has him playing harder on both ends. He's willing to dive for loose balls, defend better, and pass out when he gets in trouble. But, those things only help to make him more seviceable. They don't really build a case for a future star.

G League Ignite should be investigated.

This 100%. He is not loaded with talent. He basically only has speed, quickness, athleticism, and a fundamentally flawed shooting stroke that lends itself to inefficient and streaky shooting at best. He's not even close to Zach Lavine, Jordan Poole, or Jamal Crawford. Those players are levels ahead of Green. Check the stats. Not counting stats.

After being ridiculed by Donkey for his nail painting thought he was gonna deliver a monster game but nope we got another single-digit scoring night from him, yuck.

I admit I was wrong, it's not 70%, if that makes you happy but my point still stands. This isn't just a slump; Jalen is consistently inconsistent. The playoffs exposed that even more.

Excuse me for being extremely disappointed because I had very high expectations for Jalen as a Rocket.
