I know he’s athletic but I think he’s been more dependent on his craftiness this year than his athleticism.
Remember when the narrative was that Jalen couldn't play "winning basketball"? well we are the #2 seed at the age of 23 and he is our leading scorer.
I can't wait until he realizes he is the closest thing this league has seen to Dwayne Wade. We all witnessed it against Atlanta. When he is focused on going downhill, he is unstoppable.
Kinda matches eye test too. We are defense focused team with pretty horrendous efficiency on offense. We won a ton of games shooting like crap but makes up for it with defense and offensive rebounding. When Green can go off efficiently, we just straight up win because we can always get stops on the other end.
Not at all, he is a good SG, not a superstar one, and not a leader. Nothing changes, he isnt' good enough for a number 2 pick...... DD
He's a leader for them, that's the one things he been really good since Silas left.. he brings it every practice and keeps his teams accountable, that's just hating now dude
The 2 sg we argue that are better than him or at best close by to them, they both playing for the play in tournament, so am sure for a number 2 seed, their leading scorer, is probably way better than just a good sg, without him rockets wasnt gonna make the playoffs or atleast maybe playing at best
If jalen was on the wolves instead of ant, what do you think their record would be? Somewhere in the 30-52 range? Worse?
Hopefully they can trade him for a star in the offseason. I’d take anyone, Booker, Zion, lámelo, morant, Giannis, Edwards. Whoever is available.
You can be a better player on a worse team. Jalen isn't the reason we are in 2nd, he is part of a good team......but it is ok to love him.....I like him but don't think he is a difference maker and that many could do what he is doing....and more efficiently. DD
