Mislabeled by like 5 weirdos that pick up on any Jalen related criticism in any thread. If you just ignore those dudes and for the love of God don't hit "look at ignored content" you'll be alright. Also gotta recognize when another member has fallen victim to their siren and ignore the discourse. Like guys that are drowning off the Titanic if you try to save them you'll just fall victim as well. I think most rational Rockets fans are more or less in the same boat when it comes to Jalen currently.
Your lack of self awareness is so amazing. You are the Michael Jordan of not being able to read yourself.
Knee jerky but a year ago it was "rational". Jalen was absolutely terrible up to this point last year just like Cam has been mostly terrible this year. Jalen has been a much better player than Cam this year.
We aren’t talking about last year, are we? Some Jater said it yesterday in the Cam thread. Go check it out if you don’t believe me.
Man jumps into every optimistic Jalen thread constantly, literally has the most negative COMPLIMENTS of Jalen nevermind the alleged criticisms, gets mad at the 5 people who challenge it. Hahahaha incredible. What did you want a pat on the back for being the most negative after good games and the most negative after bad games? What do you call that realism? You think most rational fans are in YOUR boat? This deserves its own poll and thread, just to let you know where you sit on the spectrum. Hope you have Jalen fans on ignore so we can have one thread without you sh*tting on anything about Jalen. Titanic indeed.
Today it has no real bearing no. Jalen is currently a much much better player than Cam Whitmore. Cam might get better and ultimately be better than Jalen down the road but his attitude and current skillset don't really make me feel like that's going to be the case. Jalen has done a great job of improving at things he needed to this year.
uh...just dropping into the middle of this intense Jalen discourse to say that he's been pretty good recently! It's been fun to watch a player grow before our eyes, a lot of our young players in the past have blossomed explosively, like Harden or even Yao in his second season. Watching someone put it together, turning from someone who essentially played glorified AAU ball into a true, above-average NBA player is fun in it's own way. I think Jalen isn't anywhere near his ceiling, either. I feel like he has the right mental makeup to go far.
Not really. He frequently leaves his man and runs back to the rim to steal rebounds from his teammates.
Jalen in 6 games since ASB First of all, he actually played all 6 games 24.7 points on 58.9 TS% 42.1% from 3 on 9.5!!! attempts 5.2 rebounds (coach had asked him to rebound more) 4.5 assists Good defense It's too bad the team is going through some chaos right now but proud of Jalen for being the most reliable player on the roster and consistently improving his consistency on top of improving his efficiency.
I was just about to post something similar. He is the ONLY starter to play all games, he leads the team in scoring and he is still not getting foul calls. I think he can be a 28 -30 ppg scorer next yr.
