Jalen is 39.8% on catch and shoot this season. Get yourself together, we just barely lost to a good team with the best perimeter defenders in the NBA and we have 3 starters missing.

Trade Jalen Green while he still has trade value. He is too inconsistent to be a team leader. His unorthodox shooting form is not conducive to consistent, high percentage shooting. He plays at a very replaceable position. I just don't see us taking that next step as a team if he's our leading scorer. Cam is waiting in the wings to take his place with very little dropoff.

Some good and some bad for Jalen. Some my turn your turn issues with Amen and Green late in the game, they need to be smoother with that. Green should have gone back to Amen after that tough shot. Too many turnovers obviously. Would like to see Green set the pick for Amen sometimes and pop out to the 3pt line.

Green on consecutive plays got his continuation called off for no reason at all (2pts) and then got fouled and then got called for a BS offensive foul where Brunson was practically swaying to his left.

They need better shooters around them, not fair to compare to Knicks who's good defenders are elite shooters. That's the dream scenario, the closest we have to that is Jabari and FVV.

To be honest, they need Fred. They really need Fred. They don't NEED Brooks for anything, imo he's a luxury when we're healthy. But they need Fred still this season as the off ball guy he's been recently (mostly). I think Amen/Green starting backcourt is maybe a next season thing. They're really good right now and they were up against a tough team with 3 starters missing - but I can see that there's no chance it would hold up for long stretches in the playoffs. They're getting there but we just need to give them like 3-6 months. It's looking great if that's the route we go.

Again, he is not a number 1, never will be doesn't have that DOG in him to be the best.

He is a nice secondary scoring player - just a decent piece, but hardly untradeable.

Jalen Green is not a number 1 period. He's too inconsistent and has terrible shot selection. He's grown defensively but lapses at times. I don't know what the answer is but I know Jalen is not it. 6 ****ing TO's tonight. It sucks because I want him to be that guy.

It's almost impossible to trade with this contract, let's try to love him for a few more years

Fouled 3x in this drive - no call

even the former players on TV see it, hell the Knicks broadcast said it “ Green is becoming frustrated because he feels he’s being fouled and he has a good case”

then we get yall couch potato’s who are quiet when he’s on a heater running in here to complain about inconsistency - guess what go back and look at how many FTs he has when he’s on one of his heaters vs when he isn’t.

10+ drives tonight and 2 FTs

I don't like the high vertical jump middies or high jump floaters, it's like you're open but hang in the air for the defender to catch up. It's not smart or efficient.

Green didn't lose this game, Ime did. If he would have left Amen at the point instead of turning it over to Jalen, we would have won this game. It's a loser mentality to say we played them tough. We dominated them whenever Amen was running the point. Go back and re-watch the game. Green was being shut down by a great defender, so why on Earth would you want the ball in his hands? Everyone was getting fouled all night on both sides. The refs let them play. Green is not a good player when he can be man-handled. So make the adjustment and let Cam do his thing. What the hell did they need Fred for? To take some logo shots after dribbling out the clock in the fourth quarter? No that was Jalen's job tonight.

Yeah, no excuses for Jalen please. We were fouling the Knicks just as much and they weren't getting the calls either. Jalen is not a good player in physical games like this. It doesn't mean he will never be, but he isn't right now. He should have never been the focus of the offense in the second half after he was dominated in the first half. That's on Ime.

He needs to practice with Harden to understand getting to the line.

Brunson literally slaps him in arms - Kat pushed him in his lower body and hits him .. and your dumbass response is maybe he should adjust to the refs

no maybe the refs should call the game evenly where a foul is a foul and not give Brunson the superstar whistle
