Every JG “Clutch” shot this year (video) Video is too big to share - maybe admin can https://www.reddit.com/r/rockets/s/NnE9nyJFct 16/39 54pts 6/17 3s 35.3% 16/17 FTs 94.1% 58.1%TS
94 FT% 58 TS% in the clutch. That's great work by Jalen. Definitely something to build on. His 3PT% (35%) is not great, better to get downhill in those situations it seems.
This is something I pointed out last season when he had 43 terrible games, a dozen average games and 27 really good games - he needs to cut down on the bad and replace that with either of the other category. He doesn't have to be superstar all the time, just few poor games.
Exactly, one should expect Clutch 3P% to be lower than regular 3P%. More stress/pressure/heaves/better defense in the clutch.
This is why I love Adams on the team. Whatever he's constantly talking to Jalen about on those plays is invaluable. He's played with Westbrook and Ja. Elite screen setter. Anything he can do to get more points out of Green is great for the team. This is also a good sign of how Robert Williams and Jalen would pair as PnR partners. I bet they would be almost as good.
Don't want a be the party pooper but the 2 man lineups don't carry much info, and yes I told this when similar analysis was done for Sengun with 2-3-4 man lineups. Adams and holiday is a +21 and adams and whitmore is +19.4, with less minutes than green but still comparable. Sengun with Tate is a plus 22 and Sengun and Cam is a plus 10.7. All that says is maybe our starters are much better when they play against the second units of other teams.
