He has surpassed the last 3 years' record already and is not all-star weekend yet. He is doing a great job trying to get rid if the Sil@ss stink. If we get to mid 30s by the end of the season it'll be a good season setting us up for next year.
Everyone calls Jalen inconsistent but he really plays the same way every game. Sometimes his shots fall sometimes they don't. Jalen is at the point in his career where he needs to accept who he is and work at refining his game around that. Jalen is not knock down shooter. He can't be that guy who takes a bunch of even lightly contested 3s. He is a natural slasher. He needs to watch film from D Wade and learn better footwork and improve his layup package and learn how to anticipate the bump and still score. I see Jalen get into the paint often but he just doesn't have the tools to capitalize when he gets there. So, he pulls it back out and settles for a tough jumper. You've somehow assembled an even worse shooting lineup than our normal starters.
Exactly. This is why I'm not sure you can start him much longer. If I'm Udoka, my patience would be about done with it.
There was an early play when Immanuel Quickley had a semi clear lane with Green in front and you see Green back pedalling inch for inch..... I guess people prefer to talk about the newly good defender Jalen Green.
-23 last night with his typical poor shooting and 4 TO in 22 min. But he’s turning the corner? I’m so tired of watching Jalen stop the ball, turn the ball over, shoot poorly, and play bad defense. Just tired. It’s ugly basketball.
Jalen Green - seems to just not be bothered by benching, up there yucking it up with Barnes after the game after he was benched for putting his tail between his legs and backing cowardly down from the challenge. The sooner this fraud is traded the better. Jalen needs to go - for this team to be better, start Cam. DD
Well, Cam and Fred will be out tonight, so Jalen can go crazy taking shots against the 2nd worst defense in the league and try for 40 PTS. In the long run, none of that will matter though, as long as keeps playing as inconsistently as he has all year. There will be a point in time where the team will have to decide how much longer they want a starter who can't consistently shoot well enough.
They have already decided, which is why they tried to trade him to Brooklyn, he will be gone this summer, it is almost a certainty. DD
