This guy (SOF) tries to play the "1st option players on rebuilding teams score the most blah blah blah" not noticing that every single player on this list was drafted to a "rebuilding" team! LOLOL

Surround Sengun with people who can actually shoot.

Also helps if Sengun becomes a better shooter himself instead of a guy who does triple pump fakes at the three point line with zero defenders within a 5 ft radius of him.

Jalen playing better is better for the Rockets. A simple look at his win/loss split will obviously confirm that. He averages 2 more ppg in wins and shoots a more efficient 56% TS. Anyone complaining about him doing well or implying that him playing well is not good for the team is trolling or ignorant.

Not playing well, taking more shots rather than scoring more. Dont think its a complaint, its an observation just like yours is. Thats the problem on this board everyone is a complainer or hater if they say something you dont like. Its childish.

He scores more in wins than in losses.

So you're revising your earlier comment, got it. I think the dynamic there is similar to Sengun. If he and Jalen are taking more shots, it means other players aren't playing well and we are having trouble generating offense. Those are two of the only players that can consistently create for themselves (obviously Sengun does it better and more efficiently than Jalen).

EDIT: I also see you elaborated on your original comment which is reasonable.

He averages almost the same in 15 shots per game between wins or losses. I don't hunk it matters either way besides Green just playing well means the team does better as you can see with his scoring efficiency on wins vs losses.

Not Trolling at all, Jalen isn't good at winning basketball....and may never be.....would trade him for Bridges if I could.

Jalen is the perfect scorer to alternate with FVV-Sengun PnR. Even as a finisher with low assists, this team needs his points.

I do agree he takes too many shots sometimes. There's opportunity for 2-3 fewer shots and 1-2 more assists. Efficiency has to be his main focus.

You hit on something I was going to mention. Statistics can be spun and cherry picked to fit a narrative so it's careful to put heavy weight on them without knowing all the variables. It's like those NFL QBs that have tons of yards because their teams are typically playing from behind. Or the statistic about 50% of all car accidents happening within 5 miles of home. The facts may be true, but there are other factors at play that help tell the entire story.

Now youre stammering. JALEN TAKING MORE SHOTS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW ANYONE ELSE IS SHOOTING AS MOST OF THE TEAM IS MORE EFFICIENT THAN HIM YOU ARE MAKING UP STATS NOW. Thats why we struggle when he takes more shots because he's usually not efficient. Its just the truth im sorry if that hurts you personally.

KJ Martin jr is more efficient than most lead self creating star guards and wings in the NBA.

You have a hard time understanding roles.
