That’s because they spent time on the Titanic with Captain Silas slamming into one iceberg after another.
Chet is super skinny yet able to establish the Chet Wall and stuff the shet out of that other skinny. @Jontro
Plays physical unlike Wemby evn though heisway skinnier. Honestly, he is a real offensive threat, Wemby gonna be good defensively but he doesn't have the offensive touch like Chet.
Jalen Green is shooting 30% in his last 5 games. $36 mil per. wtf with his track record there was really no excuse to extend him before RFA. It really bothers me that we’ve seen that same inconsistency of the last 3 years, in the first 9 games of year 4.
Shooting 45% or 50% from long range was not sustainable, that was clear as day. Relying on it heavily was just the lazy approach. His all round game is not elite enough to survive horrid shooting though.
It's only been 9 games. We didn't offer him max, and although inefficient he has been clutch, making plays for us to win games. If u r gonna btch about 36 mil, look at us pay fvv 40 mil to average 13.9 Pts, 3.6 Reb, 5.7 Ast, 39.6 FG%
FVV is on a 2-yr deal. We can move on after this season. We have 3 more seasons of Jalen after this one. And if he can’t improve his shooting it’s a bad contract. U are right, no reason to panic after 9 games, but now that he’s getting paid near max he needs to play like it. All of our high paid guys have to play better; Al P and Fred included.
I had no problem with the contract except for the player option. It was very stupid. If he wouldn’t sign for that the don’t extend him. All that being said, I do think he will be improved this year. We still need to remember with all these kids that they have had 1 1/2 year of coaching from at least a decent NBA coach. If they all improve, they should all be retained.
I agree, it sets a hazardous precedent that every talented young player can demand a player option now. Has to be nipped in the bud stat.
