Why would a draft bust in the final season of their contract not have to fight for their starting spot? How long should they get by on draft position alone? At the end of the day, it's not Udoka's call. He may love having a terrible player... but that doesn't mean the GM loves it.
I sincerely hope that every one of Dillon Brooks, Jabari Smith and Jalen Green are fighting to keep their starting spots or we're in trouble. Probably stretching it with Dillon seeing as he's a much better NBA player right now than both Jabari Smith and Jalen Green....but those 3 are the primary reason why our offense was trash last year.
I agree with what you are saying but I am thinking more post Fred. At least half of what makes FVV valuable is his leadership, we need one of our young core to take the mantel from him at some point.
They are a bunch of young 22 yr olds, you can't expect them to be true leaders. True Leaders are made not born. Thats why Stone got vets and professionals like FVV, Jeff Green and Adams.
When you stop responding to genuine stupidity colors seem more vivid, food tastes better and birds sing everywhere you walk. Its like a Disney movie.
When you stop responding to genuine stupidity, you encourage that stupidity to reproduce and grow, before long, that's all that will exist
Ooof quoting Em at the mere mention of Disney and actually using the word 'woke' is almost cringe overdose -- Kid Rock lyrics were the obvious choice here. Duh.
The best.... and that's why there's still a few emotionally unstable posters throwing their tampons at me to this day. Genuine stupidity gets super upset when it gets refuted, but it still needs to happen.... it's what DMo would have wanted.
I would rather deal with genuine stupidity than average intelligence people who believe they are geniuses, cannot or will not listen or learn, and just repeat the same banal things over and over and over and over because they have tied their own limited self-worth into their strongly stated opinions, which they must defend to death rather than acknowledge maybe they were wrong about something in their life. Every time I read a Bobby post I think of the Hold Steady lyrics: “It’s the stench of burning circuits in a mediocre man” At least the genuinely stupid have an excuse.
Crazy what 1 week of Dashletics training did. He has better composure and is taking less bad step backs.
