He can't be steady because he doesn't understand team play. It's true he loves the big dunks like Westbrook but other than that they're quite different. Westbrook has a decent bbiq but is limited by his incredible stubbornnes. What's good about Green is he seems willing to learn, but so far his bbiq has been up there with Rockets legends like Von Wafer, James Ennis, and Squid.

Westbrook has way below NBA basketball IQ. I guess when he hits nothing but backboard on a 15 foot post up then decides to do it again 3 plays later that's just him being stubborn.

Westbrook needs to learn that a Westbrook guarded jump shot has much less
value than a guarded jump shot by Harden, Booker, Beal, Durant, Irving, LeBron,
AD, KAT, Embiid, Tatum, Eric Gordon.......Wall...... yeah pretty much everyone else
    in the NBA.

Do applaud the OP's analysis and optimism, and personally I'm going to give this kid a lot of time, but I think "unstoppable" still feels misplaced one month out.

I don't want revolutionary improvement but hope all of those can inch in the right direction over the rest of this season. And I hope he stays healthy.

    As it should be.
Contrary to the clueless consternation of clutchfans complainers.
