not sure why this thread was bumped, but it’s not even close between the 2 of them Cade is in a completely different tier transcending towards stardom and has had many impressive games this year
Cade is equal to Jalen thus far. Still fighting off bust talks his damn self. Streaky shooters and vulnerable to low confidence.
I have no doubt if Green was given the confidence to do whatever he wants on the court on a 3-32 team his stats would be higher in volume than what it is on the Rockets by a lot but with more highlight plays compared to Cade. I have no doubt Green can lead the Pistons to the same record Cade is leading the Pistons to.
Yeah but I think they said they wanted to trade for veteran role player pieces rather than full on Stars.....I might be mistaken but that is what I came away with...... They have pieces like Bagley III, Wiseman, Killian Hayes that should be on other teams or in the G League...... Then in the offseason give up Joe Harris and Alec Burks.....get Monte Morris healthy. Addition by substraction.
Guessing what an incompetent FO will do next is a fool's errand. Anything is possible. Green for Cade? Can not rule it out. If Detroit wants a veteran, then Green+Tate for Cade+Sasser+filler? Again, can not rule it out. If Detroit also wants to move on from their mistakes, then Green+Tate+Landale for Cade+Sasser+Wiseman+pick(s)? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
While that's true (the win-loss record) why would they want Jalen? Especially at the expense of Cunningham who would net a far bigger return. If you wanted to roll the dice on someone there at low value it would be Jaden Ivey. I personally wouldn't trade Green straight up for him though. I'd do expirings and second rounders just to kick the tires
My dad had these quotes he would say like ... Can't argue with that. If my dad heard "We started off slow ...", he would say ...
The entire Detroit roster might benefit from a change-of-scenery trade. Some of us here are have the same opinion of Green. Unsure about the GM and HC.
The OG and Quickley/RJ trade was the biggest in months, maybe we see a bigger one but I am not expecting it.... The Dame, then subsequent Jrue trades were anticipated but it took half a year to make it happen. Siakam is now the biggest name but even he is hesitating to stay in Toronto.
I have no doubt that Cade would be playing much better than Jalen Green is if he was on the Rockets, so your point means nothing to me
Jan 1, 2024 Rockets vs Pistons Cade shoots 3-16, 0-5 from deep 6/1/10 AST in 30 min 4 TO, -21 Jalen shoots 6-12, 5-9 from deep 22/5/1 AST in 27 min 0 TO, +20 Rockets win 136-113 I'll TAKE IT!
I agree that they'd definitely benefit but I can't see a scenario where Detroit deals Cade unless he asks out. That's their last resort I'm good with Ime. Think Stone is a mediocre gm.
KPJ only is better at beating up women and sabotaging his career despite having a ton of opportunities. I guess sitting on a sofa as well as that's likely what he's currently doing
