The fact that there’s no update means that either Keith Jones is still in a food coma or that the injury is minor and there’s nothing to update.
Mathews is 6 years older than Green and has likely worked his tail to get the full extent of his much lower natural abilities. He’s your typical try hard guy which is great most teams need one but all those hustle plays aren’t going to make up for the lack of natural talent. Green is supposed to have a Kobe type work ethic. Let’s see if it manifests.
What? This right here is evidence (Jalen is okay) based on an anecdote (I was at the game and saw the trainers). How does this not qualify?
So strained hammy. Hopefully this isn’t a Will Fuller situation. Super fast guy with star potential, but weak hamstrings. On the bright side, of all the possible scenarios, although not the absolute best case, this has to be one of the best possible outcomes.
No reason for the Rockets to be anything but ultra cautious with respect to Green's injury. Even if he is out for a month or more, there's still TONS of games left to get him NBA reps
I’ll be honest with you, if Green is still playing the way KPJ has been in his 3rd season I won’t be checking injury updates for him either. Right now today, Green is not number 1 player on the team, but he is unquestionably their number 1 asset. That could change as early as next year depending on who we draft or if Sengun proves to be a stud in extended minutes, but right now it’s Jalen Green.
