Getting a look at the video a couple times, it looks like White undercuts him pretty badly. Didn't look like a sprain...maybe hyperextended his knee? Ligament issue perhaps. That's my guess. He was moving too well for it to be achilles or bone break and he kinda flexes his knee on the ground.

    Dirty foul?

It’s not achilles (tear), you know it’s that instantly (from experience), also his first reaction would have been to look behind him because it feels like someone kicked you from behind. No way he would have stayed in to shoot free throws if that was the case.

I have heard it described as getting shot in the back of your foot/ leg. So yeah I doubt it’s achilles.

Right. This is no way looks like an Achilles injury.

Didn’t look super serious in real time - I would hope it’s just a precaution.

Still no update? That's usually not a good sign.

On the bright side, court side tickets will probably be $10

I feel the opposite. If it was something big, I think we’d have heard about it by now.

Just keep Keith Jones away from Green and he should be good to go in a day or two.

Rockets don’t even communicate injuries. They will say he’s out indefinitely with a leg injury and that is it.

It's to early in his career to come down with bone-on-bone

Probably just a bruise. Green needs to put on some weight and build muscle. At least 15-20 lbs in the next couple of years.

Again, lower leg, not thigh or hamstring

Yeah, I've wondered about Jalen's ability to take the pounding his game will demand, early on in his career...until he grows. One would assume the Rockets are cognizant of this.

I need a real update... Jalen Green is a big part of my entertainment while watching the Rockets lose.

I'm going with a bruise that'll probably keep him out 2-4 games depending on the schedule. He didn't seem that upset or disturbed by it so I won't panic until I hear bad news.
